摘要： An apparatus for the treatment of sheet material, especially photographic sheets, comprises a multiplicity of surfaces or a single surface movable in a transport direction and defining a transport path through a vessel into which the treating fluid (e.g. developer, fixer or washing liquid, mist or gas) is admitted. The surface is provided with openings which are under suction so that a pressure differential is applied across a sheet carried along the surface to retain the sheet thereon without pressure members overlying the emulsion or sensitive side of the sheets. A drying chamber downstream of the fluid-treatment vessels circulates air into contact with the photographic paper or film, the air being dehumidified by a cooler in the circulating path. A counter responsive to the width and length of the photographic material measures the area treated.

摘要： In developing apparatus for wet treatment of photographic recording materials, a trough in which a rotatable drum defining a support for the recording material is immersed in developer liquid is provided with two inlet orifices which are spaced apart so as to admit the desired liquid in two opposite flows at substantially uniform concentration and temperature of the developer liquid throughout the trough. The liquid is pumped to the second inlet orifice by a circulating pump, preferably mounted on the trough, through a branch pipe. The trough is preferably tippable and the branch pipe flexible. The trough may be longitudinally subdivided by a partition provided with a further inlet orifice.

摘要： There is disclosed an apparatus for printing or developing large mural size prints wherein an outer cylinder having an access opening is rotatably mounted in a frame. An inner cylinder having a flattened portion on its periphery is rotatably mounted within the outer cylinder and coaxial therewith. Clips are on the flattened portion to retain a sheet on the inner cylinder while it is rotated through a solution retained in the bottom of the outer cylinder. Mounted within the outer cylinder are spray nozzles to spray the inner cylinder with a liquid and a lamp assembly. A detent mechanism is provided to position the outer cylinder in a selected one of three operating positions. The outer cylinder is provided with a jacket through which a liquid is circulated to maintain solution within the outer cylinder at a constant temperature.

摘要： A drum-carrying photographic film is rotated in a housing in which developing solutions and wash water are introduced and withdrawn in a predetermined sequence with high rapidity through the same conduit. A baffle is provided in the housing to prevent splattering. Wash and rinse water is introduced at a rate exceeding that which is otherwise practicable by accumulating a reserve of water as the process continues and simultaneously discharging the accumulated wash water together with rinse water from normal outlets into the drum housing during the wash and rinse cycle. Color film rotated on the drum is subjected to reexposure lights disposed at the top of the drum. Polygonal drums are provided for photogrammetric plates. Expandible holding rods with spaced intermediate resilient means automatically adjust for expansion of the film which takes place during the processing. Exceedingly large paper prints are wound loosely about the drum and developed in such position while the drum rotates. A modified drum with a helical path provided about its periphery receives long strips of film such as movie film. The drum housing is selectively ventilated by means of a programmed exhaust fan, air being drawn into the housing through a light trap affixed adjacent the periphery of the drum.
