摘要： An electric starting system for an internal combustion engine is provided. The starting system includes a rechargeable battery, a battery receiver, and a starter motor. The rechargeable battery including a battery housing, internal circuitry housed within the battery housing, two voltage output terminals, and an enable terminal. The battery receiver includes a battery receptacle configured to receive the rechargeable battery, two voltage output terminals, and the enable terminal. The starter motor is configured to start the internal combustion engine. The internal circuitry is coupled to the enable terminal and configured to enable and disable an internal switch to provide power to one of the two voltage output terminals, the internal circuitry monitoring at least one internal condition of the rechargeable battery for a fault condition. The internal circuitry disables the internal switch upon detection of the fault condition.

摘要： An electric starting system for an internal combustion engine is provided. The starting system includes a rechargeable battery including two voltage output terminals and an enable terminal, a battery receiver including a battery receptacle configured to receive the rechargeable battery, two voltage output terminals, and an enable terminal, a starter motor configured to start the internal combustion engine, and a continuous duty electrical load. The voltage output terminals of the lithium-ion battery and the battery receiver are configured to connect to complete a circuit between the rechargeable battery and the continuous duty electrical load when the rechargeable battery is attached to the battery receptacle.

In particular, operating parameters and statuses of the welding power supply may be modified by the portable electronic device, as well as be displayed on the portable electronic device. For example, in certain embodiments, the welding power supply may be an engine-driven welding power supply, and the portable electronic device may be configured to start and/or stop an engine of the engine-driven welding power supply. A pairing procedure may be used to pair the welding power supply and the portable electronic device in a wireless communication network. Furthermore, in certain embodiments, a method of prioritization of control between a control panel of the welding power supply and the portable electronic device may be implemented.

摘要： The present invention provides an emergency starting device, including a first output end and a second output end, wherein the first output end is used for being connected to a positive electrode of an accumulator battery in an engine starting system and the second output end is used for being connected to a negative electrode of the accumulator battery; the device includes a super-capacitor, a controller and a DC-DC booster circuit, wherein the controller receives first electrical signal from the accumulator battery and electrically connects the super-capacitor and the accumulator battery to start the engine with energy stored in the super-capacitor when the first electrical signal changes suddenly, the DC-DC booster circuit increases the output voltage of the accumulator battery to charge the super-capacitor. The invention further provides an emergency starting method accordingly. By using the super-capacitor, the controller and the DC-DC booster circuit the invention fits in various severe environments and can start an engine in emergency permanently and effectively.

A coupling mechanism which can include a starter circuit and starting device, or a charging circuit and charging device, or both device couples a battery receptacle terminal block to the internal combustion engine. The battery receptacle can include various features to permit and retain electrical coupling between a battery pack for a cordless power tool. For example, key protrusions and corresponding recesses can be associating with latching projections. Additionally or alternatively, cooperating rails and recesses may be associated with the battery pack and receptacle, respectively. Spring loaded movable clips or resilient flexing clips can be included to act on the battery pack. An electrical cord may also be used to couple receptacle terminals to the coupling mechanism.
