摘要： Soap bars that are not of essentially a square or rectangular shape, but of a generally rectangular shape, can be packaged using a single plastic film wrapper. This plastic film preferably is biaxially oriented polypropylene of from about 60 micron to about 180 microns. It can be a monolayer or a multilayer laminated. However, any plastic film having a Taber stiffness of more than about 5 and preferably about 7 to 20 can be used. The soap bar in order to facilitate making an effective longitudinal seal on the bottom of the soap bar package should have a planar surface adjacent to the position of the overlapping longitudinal edges of the wrapping film. This provides a surface for the sealing plate to seal the longitudinal edges against.

摘要： A flat blade windshield wiper blade (12) has a naturally elongated curve with a delicate wiper element (16) to be protected during shipping and display for retail sales purposes. A protective package (12) surrounds the wiper (12). The package (12) is made from a single piece of sheet stock and includes a flexible, outwardly bowed front panel (24), a back panel (26), and opposing left (30) and right (28) side panels adjoining respective sides of the front (24) and back (26) panels. Top (32) and bottom (34) end flaps extend between the front (24) and back (26) panels for forcing the front (24) panel to form in a generally semi-cylindrical configuration bowed outwardly relative to the back panel (26). The wiper (12) is disposed in a shipping condition in the package (12), with a connector (22) feature of the wiper (12) bearing in direct pressing contact with the bowed front panel (24). The wiper element (16) is completely isolated from contacting the package (12) by wedging other portions of the wiper (12) in three discrete regions of direct contact against the bowed front panel (24) and three discrete regions of direct contact against the back panel (26).

Soft packs for paper tissues which have a reclosable tear-open flap (21) are often provided with large-surfaced wide adhesive labels (24) to ensure a better stability. These adhesive labels are made by punching from a web of material (26) corresponding to the width of the adhesive label (24). When the adhesive is applied, an area is left out to form an adhesive-free grip tab (25). The grip tab (25) is colorcoded with an appropriate coating. A marginal strip (31) is left free from the adhesive and free from the colored coating. The punch cut is applied in the region of this strip (31).

The bread compartment is vented to atmosphere, and there is communication between the two compartments. Cooking of the meat generates cooking gases which flow through the bread compartment, warming and moistening the bread before escaping to atmosphere.
