摘要： In the method for producing a high impact polystyrene from a monomer of styrene or/and its derivative and a rubbery polymer as reactants, an improvement is provided which comprises passing said reactants through a tubular reactor having parts where the passage way of flow of said reactants is constricted, while keeping said reactants in a laminar flow as much as possible in the parts other than said parts, in a first stage polymerization to prepare a reacted mixture containing a prepolymer until the conversion of monomer to polymer becomes 10 to 60%, and subjecting the resulting reacted mixture to a second stage polymerization in the state where almost no shearing is exerted thereupon.The shearing during said first stage polymerization can be uniformly carried out.The resulting product has superior high impact properties.

The surface-coated cutting tool of the present invention includes a base material and a coating formed on the base material. The coating includes an inner layer and an outer layer. The inner layer is a single layer or a multilayer stack constituted of two or more layers made of at least one element selected from the group consisting of group IVa elements, group Va elements, group VIa elements in the periodic table, Al, and Si, or a compound of at least one element selected from this group and at least one element selected from the group consisting of carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, and boron. The outer layer includes α-aluminum oxide as a main component and exhibits an equivalent peak intensity PR(024) of a (024) plane of x-ray diffraction of larger than 1.3.

摘要： Disclosed is a non-heat treated steel for hot forging, particularly suitable for producing connecting rods of automobile engines. The steel consists essentially of: by weight, C: 0.3-0.8%, Si: 0.1-2.0%, Mn: 0.3-1.5%, P: 0.01-0.15%, Cr: 0-1.0%, V: 0-0.4%, Al: 0-0.05%, N: 0.005-0.03% and the balance being Fe and inevitable impurities, provided that the contents of C, Mn and Cr fulfill the following condition: 1.40[C %]+0.28[Mn %]+0.50[Cr %]≧0.75 Pearlite area fraction in this steel after hot forging is 50% or more. Notches are provided with laser beam on an intermediate part at the location from which fracture starts, and load is applied. Then, the intermediate is split to be two components (big end or cap and small end/rod for connecting rod). The components are adhered to form the parts.

The one-way clutch is installed in one end portion of the crank shaft, and a starter gear or a starter sprocket having a smaller diameter than an outer diameter of a clutch outer member is provided on the crank shaft portion in an outer side in an axial length direction of the crank shaft rather than the clutch outer member of the one-way clutch. In preferable, the clutch outer member is arranged in an outer side in the axial length direction of the crank shaft rather than a sprocket wheel for driving a cam or a gear for driving a cam provided in one end portion of the crank shaft.
