    • A magnetic sensor circuit supplying an excitation current to an MI device, and having a detection signal supplied thereto corresponding to a magnetic field intensity from the MI device based on the excitation current. The magnetic sensor circuit includes a pulse current supplying circuit supplying a pulse current to the MI device; a sample-and-hold circuit maintaining an approximately peak value of the detection signal and outputting a hold signal; and a temperature compensation part compensating temperature characteristics of the magnetic sensor circuit with respect to the hold signal. The sample-and-hold circuit may include a switching circuit and a holding capacitor. The switching circuit may have an opening/closing control signal supplied thereto based on timing of the pulse current. The temperature compensation part may include a temperature detection circuit, a temperature compensation circuit, and an amplification circuit that has an amplification factor higher than that of the temperature compensation circuit.

    • A vehicle driving position adjusting device which adjusts an optimum driving position of a driver by moving the seat and the pedal to positions which are adapted to a standard physique of the driver. When the reclining position of the seat is within the driving region while the vehicle is parked and the driver operates the standard key, the seat control device and the pedal control device move the seat and the pedal respectively to the return point on the standard physique characteristic curve which is adapted to a plurality of standard physiques.     • A digital video signal coding circuit has a first DCT circuit for DCT converting a digital video signal with respect to frame and second DCT circuit for DCT converting the digital video signal with respect to fields which is used to reduce high frequency component of image. These outputs are selected according to high frequency components. The selected signal is separated to two signals respectively coded with data compression through VLC circuits which are provided to speed up the processing speed with non-industrial use ICs. A helical scan video tape recorder records the digital video signal such that at a lower portion (width direction) of slant track on a video tape, video data of an upper screen portion of the first field is recorded, at an upper portion of the track, video data of the upper screen portion of the second field is recorded, at a lower portion of the next slant track, video data of a lower screen portion of the first field is recorded, and at an upper portion, video data of the lower screen portion of the second field is recorded. This provides favorable image on a searching mode.
