    • A fluid flow controlling device having a working member capable of reciprocating in a tubular case. The working member comprises a pressure detecting portion to detect the pressure of a second fluid, which flows into the tubular case through a second inlet, and to move the working member forwards; and a valve element to decrease the opening of the first outlet in relation to the opening of the first inlet, through which the first fluid is led into the tubular case, in correspondence with the displacement of the working member. By the use of the above fluid flow controlling device, it becomes easy to control the quantity of the first fluid led into the tubular case in relation to that of the second fluid, and it becomes possible to sufficiently supplying the first fluid to the tubular case even when the second fluid is exhausted and cannot be supplied any more so long as the first fluid is not exhausted. Further, the above fluid flow controlling device has a simple structure, performs a reliable action, does not break easily, and is very durable.

    • A car telephone is disclosed that is included in a car telephone system and selectively operable in a car-mounted mode or in a portable mode. A portable unit and a telephone antenna constitute a mobile car telephone set, while a car antenna, a power amplifier unit, a curled cord, and a connection unit constitute a car-mounted telephone together with the portable unit. The car telephone operates in a unique manner in a car-mounted mode. The power amplifier unit converts a received signal from a base station included in the system to an intermediate frequency (IF) signal by a receiving mixer and feeds the IF signal to the curled cord. The IF signal is transferred to a demodulator included in the portable unit over a coaxial cable incorporated in the curled cord and the connection unit. Therefore, the transmission loss of the signal to the portable unit particular to the coaxial cable is noticeably reduced, whereby the constants of the circuits included in the car telephone can be selected with unprecedented freedom.

    • In an internal combustion engine, a first oil chamber includes a curved surface portion provided on the upstream side in an oil flow direction and an inclined surface portion provided on the downstream side. The engine is so constructed that oil drops from upper oil passages onto the curved surface portion on the upstream side of the first oil chamber and the inclined surface portion on the downstream side. The curved surface portion on the upstream side has a curved shape which is convex downward, and the inclined surface portion on the downstream side has a slope shape which is inclined downward with respect to the horizontal direction. The curved shape of the curved surface portion on the upstream side is connected to the inclined surface portion before a tangent line of the curved surface portion turns to the horizontal direction.
