    • A power brake booster including booster pressure acting upon a booster piston and controlled by a brake valve which is actuated by an actuating element supported in the booster housing is disclosed. A travel simulator is interposed between the actuating element and the brake valve. Acting on which travel simulator is a simulator piston which is acted on by the actuating pressure in opposition to main actuating direction. The simulator piston is connected to a valve spool for the purpose of actuating the brake valve. The actuating element includes a plunger piston which projects into a booster chamber and which transmits a reaction force onto the actuating element on actuation of the power brake booster.

    • A brake system wherein the piston (2) of a master cylinder (1) is actuated by the pressure controlled by a brake valve (6), a monitoring device is provided for detection of fail conditions. The monitoring device comprises a switch (18) which is closed by a trip cam (17) upon an actuating distance (s.sub.1) having been traveled by the actuating element (4), and further switches (20, 21), the switch (20) being closed after an actuating travel distance (s.sub.21) and the switch (21) being closed after an actuating travel distance (s.sub.22), each by a trip cam (19) at the master cylinder piston (2). If the master cylinder piston (2) has not yet traveled the actuating distance (s.sub.21) or has already traveled furher than the distance (s.sub.22) when the switch (18) closes, an evaluating circuit (22) which evaluates the positions of the switches (18, 20, 21) will switch on a signal lamp (23) to indicate a fail condition in the brake system.

    • The present invention relates to a motor-driven assembly with a motor unit and a working machine, wherein the motor unit includes a rotatable rotor with a motor shaft to drive at least one working element. The nub of the present invention is the provision of a holding element which extends through the motor shaft and pivotably mounts the rotor. These measures ensure a space-saving mounting support of the rotor, on the one hand, and a drive of the working machine with practically no vibrations and with little noise in operation, on the other hand. The holding element may be arranged, for example, as a tie rod, between the electric motor and the cover for an electronic unit and may serve for the attachment of the construction units on a pump housing.
