摘要： A process is disclosed for removing heavy metals from a hydrocarbon gas stream by contacting the hydrocarbon gas stream, which contains a heavy metal and less than 10 ppm oxidizing compounds, with a composition containing a molecular sieve and sulfur resulting in a treated stream containing less heavy metal than the hydrocarbon gas stream; wherein the molecular sieve contains alumina, silica, and iron, and optionally copper and zinc. Optionally, the hydrocarbon gas stream can also contain a sulfur compound.

摘要： A system employing a regenerable zinc-oxide based sorbent to remove one or more contaminants from an incoming gas stream. The contaminant-depleted gas stream can then be used for any subsequent application, while at least a portion of the contaminant-laden sorbent can be regenerated via a step-wise regeneration process. In one embodiment, sorbent regenerated via the step-wise regeneration process can comprise less sorbent-damaging compounds than traditional sorbents exposed to conventional regeneration processes.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for depositing compounds on a substrate by means of metalorganic chemical vapor deposition and a first mixture comprising at least one carrier gas and at least one organometallic compound as well as a second mixture comprising at least one carrier gas and at least one group V compound or group VI compound, both mixtures being separately fed into an MOCVD system. According to the invention, the first mixture comprising at least one carrier gas and at least one organometallic compound is directed into the system between the substrate and the second mixture comprising at least one carrier gas and at least one group V compound or group VI compound, which has the advantageous effect of creating no parasitic deposits on the walls of the MOCVD system. Hence, the deposition rates are increased compared with methods known in prior art.

摘要： A cover band on a linear guide for closing holes that are provided for fastening screws of a guide rail. The cover band is inserted in a longitudinal groove of the guide rail and has an outer surface in the plane of a wiping surface of the guide rail. Two retaining strips on the cover band bear inside the longitudinal groove against those lateral groove walls and are locked together. The cover band is composed of an outer facing layer and an inner deformation layer. The inner layer contains the retaining strips. The outer and inner layers of the cover band are of two different materials, e.g., steel and aluminum, which are inseparably connected mechanically by cold roll bonding.
