摘要： A fuel injection apparatus that includes a body, a nozzle, a pressure control unit, and a physical quantity measurement unit. The body has a fuel inlet port and a high-pressure fuel passage that is communicated with the fuel inlet port. The pressure control unit controls opening and closing of the nozzle. The fuel inlet port projects in a radially outward direction of the body. The body includes a fuel outlet port located on a lateral side of a longitudinal axis of the body opposite from the fuel inlet port. The physical quantity measurement unit is provided between the fuel inlet port and the fuel outlet port, and the physical quantity measurement unit measures a physical quantity of high pressure fuel introduced from the fuel inlet port.

摘要： In a fuel injector, a body has formed therein a spray hole and a fuel supply passage. Fuel supplied to the fuel supply passage is delivered to the spray hole. A fuel pressure sensor produces a signal indicative of a pressure of the fuel. First terminals are attached to the fuel pressure sensor, and include a terminal for outputting the signal. The fuel pressure sensor is threadedly installed in the body while the plurality of first terminals are rotated about a preset axis. A connector includes a housing attached to the body, and second terminals supported by the housing for external electric connection of the fuel pressure sensor. Electrodes are each arranged to extend around the preset axis in a circular arc. Each of the electrodes electrically connects a corresponding one of the first terminals to a corresponding one of the second terminals.

The invention is useful for long distance, large capacity and low cost optical transmission system.

摘要： The present invention suppresses to a minimum the degradation of the transmission quality caused by chromatic dispersion characteristic of an optical transmission medium, and the interplay between the chromatic dispersion and non-linear optical effects in dense WDM transport systems. A baseband input data signal is pre-coded in advance by a pre-coding unit, phase modulation is carried out using a pre-coded signal by the optical phase modulating unit, and the phase modulated optical signal is converted to an RZ intensity modulated signal by the optical filter unit that performs phase-shift-keying to amplitude-shift-keying conversion. For example, an optical phase modulating unit generates an encoded DPSK phase modulated signal using a differential phase shirt keying (DPSK) format, and a phase modulated signal is converted to an RZ intensity modulated signal by the optical filter unit disposed downstream of the optical phase modulating unit.

摘要： The present invention is a butt welding apparatus and a butt welding method where end faces of at least one plate member to be welded are butted to each other to form a butt portion, and butt welding can be performed on respective plate members to be welded which have various thickness sizes on both side portions of the butt portion with electric resistance heat by a pair of two electrode members which are made common to the respective plate members and are supplied with power.
