    • With the growing demand of oil products in the world, this invention can help curb the fuel consumption rate of trucks/large motor vehicles without reducing peak power outputs. A vehicle having a “dual series” hybrid power systems includes two liquid fueled internal combustion engines, each engine having a generator directly connected. There is an electric motor for drivability directly connected to one or more ground engaging wheels. A first electrical storage device (battery pack) stores electricity that powers the electric motor. Two voltage reducers are coupled between both of the generators and the first electrical storage device and has an accessory voltage output, which has a lower voltage than the charging power output of the generators, to keep the accessory second electrical storage device fully charged.

    • The invention relates to a blind rivet, related method of removal and a tool. The removable blind rivet has a rivet body that receives a mandrel. The rivet body has a flange with a line of weakness formed therein. The line of weakness is adapted to shear under an axial load, whereby the flange is severed, substantially as a single item, from the rivet body. The invention extends to a tool for removing the rivet, the tool having: a body and a punch surface, the punch surface adapted to apply an axial force to a region of the flange, whereby the flange is severed from the rivet body in the form of an annulus, leaving a hollow rivet body that may be removed from a workpiece. The advantage of the invention is that it enables the flange to be removed form the rivet body as a single item.

    • An out-feed roller support stand having a sturdy, stable base that folds for compact storage. A support mast that telescopes into and is adjustable within the base supports a work support head that includes an adjustable cross bar on which a row of pivoting caster wheels are mounted. An alternative embodiment includes a ramp for guiding sagging ends of work-pieces up onto the caster wheels. Both the height and angle between the adjustable cross bar and floor are adjustable after the position of the support mast has been adjusted in order to position the support head in roughly the correct location.
