摘要： A system for processing a television (TV) picture-out-picture (POP) includes a line buffer, a first multiplexer, an image processing engine, a scaling engine and a timing generator. The line buffer receives partial pixels of a first picture and partial pixels of a second picture. The first multiplexer selects the partial pixels of the first and second picture as an output. The image processing engine performs an image processing on the partial pixels output by the first multiplexer to thereby produce processed pixels. The scaling engine performs a scaling operation on the processed pixels to thereby produce scaled pixels. The timing generator produces a timing signal for the image processing engine and the scaling engine and produces enable signals respectively for the first picture and the second picture. The image processing engine and the scaling engine process the partial pixels of the first or second picture in multiplexing.

摘要： Radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag antenna, tags and communications systems using the same are presented. The RFID tag antenna includes a patterned conductive loop having a plurality of longitudinal conductive sections and a pair of transverse conductive sections connecting to each end of the longitudinal conductive sections to serve as a matching network. A pair of extended conductive arms is electrically connected to the patterned conductive loop via two nodes. A bonding pad with an RFID chip disposed thereon is arranged at the central area of the pair of extended conductive arms.

摘要： In a semiconductor package for a chip having terminals on both sides, for example, a power MOSFET in which the gate and source terminals are on the front side and the drain terminal is on the back side, electrical contact is made with the back side terminal by extending vias, which can take the form of trenches, holes or other cavities, either entirely or patrially through the chip. The vias are filled with a metal or other electrically conductive material. The process is performed on the chips in a wafer simultaneously. The resulting package is compact and economical to manufacture and can readily be mounted, flip-chip style, on a printed circuit board.

The signal transmission metal and the ground metal respectively act as a signal feed-in end and a ground end and of the reconfigurable multi-band antenna system. The at least two resonators are disposed on at least one side of the transmission metal line. Each switch is coupled to the at least two resonators or one of them. Each switch has a control end, and independently and respectively receives one of the at least two control signals, wherein the at least two control signals respectively and independently the short and open of the switches. The at least two resonators form a resonator configuration of a semi-close resonating configuration or a close resonating configuration, and generates a signal within a frequency according to the resonator configuration.

摘要： A semiconductor package includes a die that is interposed, flip-chip style, between an upper lead frame and a lower lead frame. The lower lead frame has contacts that are aligned with terminals on the bottom surface of the die. The upper lead frame contacts a terminal on the top side of the die, and the edges of the upper lead frame are bent downward around the edges of the die, giving the upper lead frame a cup shape. The edge of the upper lead frame contact another portion of the lower lead frame, so that all of the contacts of the package are coplanar and can be surface-mounted on a printed circuit board. The terminals of the die are electrically connected to the lead frames by means of solder layers. The thicknesses of the respective solder layers that connect the die to the lead frames are predetermined to optimize the performance of the package through numerous thermal cycles. This is done by fabricating the lower lead frame with a plurality of mesas and using a double solder reflow process.
