摘要： A rolling apparatus for use in rolling a cigarette that includes a rolled outer tubular member able to store a smoking material and a rolled filter member disposed within proximate an end of the tubular member. The rolling apparatus includes a cylindrical member, and a pair of elongated members coupled to a first end of the cylindrical member, the elongated members positioned substantially parallel to each other and separated by a distance to create a slot between the elongated members. The elongated members receive a filter sheet that is disposed through the slot and around the elongated members to permit a user to wrap the filter sheet around the elongated members to create the rolled filter member. The apparatus receives an outer sheet to permit the user to wrap the outer sheet around the cylindrical member and the rolled filter member to create the rolled outer tubular member.

The assembly of segments are wrapped by moving the wrapping conveyor relative to the retaining surface thereby creating a relative movement between the wrapping conveyor and the retaining surface such as to cause rotation of the assembly in the rolling seat along a longitudinal axis of the assembly and by providing the assembly of segments with a three-point guiding contact while moving the assembly of segments along the retaining surface.

The method includes feeding a stream of heat sources and aerosol-forming substrates along a moving delivery path; compacting into groups at least one heat source and an aerosol-forming substrate, each group corresponding to at least one multi-segment component, each multi-segment component having a first end adjacent the heat source and a second end adjacent the aerosol-forming substrate; wrapping the heat sources and aerosol-forming substrates in a web of material, said web having spaced apart lines of weakness; aligning each line of weakness proximate to a respective heat source; and cutting said web at a position proximate to the first end of the at least one multi-segment component, wherein at least a portion of said web forms a removable wrap being removable by breaking the wrapper at the respective line of weakness.

摘要： The present invention generally relates to a compact electrical cigarette rolling machine. The machine is particularly suitable for easily and quickly rolling tobacco into a cigarette. The tobacco is placed into a holding reservoir having tapered walls which help guide the tobacco into a rotating coil located near the bottom of a holding reservoir. The rotating coil then forces the tobacco through a hollow tube and into a pre-rolled paper cigarette in a compact and efficient manner. The machine has a support bar which allows the tobacco to become easily compacted within the paper of the cigarette without the pre-rolled paper becoming accidentally dislodged. The user may control how tightly the tobacco is packed within the cigarette by use of a control knob.

摘要： Adhesive-coated bands of paper, tipping paper or plastic foil are convoluted around discrete one-piece or composite rod-shaped articles, such as coaxial plain cigarettes and filter mouthpieces, during travel through a rolling zone bounded by a pair of surfaces at least one of which moves relative to the other. The inlet of the rolling zone receives articles, each of which carries a non-convoluted band, from a conveyor which forms part of a pressing device operative immediately ahead of the inlet of the rolling zone and serving to press successively delivered bands against the respective articles and to effect an at least slight flattening of the articles immediately prior to entry into the rolling zone. The width of the path for the articles increases at the outlet of the rolling zone or immediately downstream of such outlet.

摘要： Groups of coaxial filter rod sections and plain cigarettes are delivered onto the peripheral surface of a rotary drum in such orientation that each group extends in parallelism with the axis of the drum and overlies the adhesive coated outer side of a discrete uniting band which adheres to the surface by suction and is formed on the drum in such a way that its leader overlies a groove in the surface. The cigarettes of each group are attracted to the drum by suction, and the sections of the groups are mechanically urged against the leaders of the respective bands by claws which are retractible into and extendable from the drum by one or more stationary cams, followers which track the cams and gears which receive motion from the followers and rotate discs having eccentric pins coupling them to the respective claws. The claws are disengaged from the respective sections, and the ports in the surface of the drums cease to attract the cigarettes and the bands before the groups reach a rolling gap wherein they rotate about their respective axes and convolute the bands around the respective sections and the adjacent end portions of the cigarettes. The claws prevent misorientation or separation of sections from the drum when the latter is driven at a high peripheral speed so that the sections tend to fly away under the action of gravity and/or centrifugal force.
