摘要： A magnetic-inductive flowmeter for measuring the flow of a conductive medium having a measuring tube, a magnetic field generator, a magnetic circuit device for guiding the measuring magnetic field, electrodes for detecting a flow-dependent electrical measuring voltage when the conductive medium flows through the measuring tube, and an electronic control and evaluation unit, and a method for operating the magnetic-inductive flowmeter. To make the magnetic-inductive flowmeter which smaller and cheaper, a sensor for detecting a physical disturbance variable acting on the magnetic circuit device is arranged on the magnetic circuit device, wherein the measuring magnetic field is influenced by the physical disturbance variable and wherein the control and evaluation unit is designed such that it detects and signals an exceeding or falling below of a pre-definable limit value of the physical disturbance variable and/or performs a correction of the effect of the physical disturbance variable on the flow measurement.

摘要： Embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to a liquid level sensor system that allows ease of connection and disconnection of a removable vessel (such as a toilet bowl) from a stationary unit (such as a toilet frame). The system provides at least one liquid level sensor (a first part of the sensor probe connection) mounted to the removable vessel, a liquid level sensor circuit board mounted to the unit, and a connection feature (a second part of a sensor probe connection) configured to extend between the sensor and the circuit board. When the removable vessel is removed from the vessel, the sensor probe connection is disconnected without the need for manual intervention. Installation of multiple probes and varying their location can support detection of a single or several discrete levels, or provide for any required redundancy of detection.

摘要： A humidification system comprises a first sensor and a second sensor. The first and second sensors are adapted to sense flow characteristics within the system. The first and second sensors are isolated from the flow by barriers formed by respective first and second sealing members. The sealing members extend through apertures formed in the system and have a portion that contacts the sensing elements of the respective first and second sensors. A cartridge can hold the sensors and provide repeatable penetration depths into a flow passage of the system. A medical tube has a composite structure made of two or more distinct components that are spirally wound to form an elongate tube. One component can be a spirally wound elongate hollow body; the other component can be an elongate structural component spirally wound between turns of the spirally wound hollow body.

摘要： A medical fluid system includes a medical fluid pump; a container holding a fluid to be pumped by the medical fluid pump, the fluid at a first time having a first conductivity, the fluid at a second time having a second conductivity; and a radio frequency level sensor positioned in operable relation with the container, the radio frequency level sensor (i) configured to provide an output indicative of a level of the fluid in the container based upon sensing an impedance and (ii) connected to tuning circuitry that minimizes a reactance of the impedance such that the output is at least substantially independent of whether the fluid has the first conductivity or the second conductivity. The medical fluid system can determine the level of the fluid by measuring a resistance, the impedance, or a phase shift seen by the sensor.

摘要： An electrostatic capacitance fluid level sensor includes a hermetic terminal having two terminal pins inserted through a metal base, a detection device including two electrodes for fluid level detection by electrostatic capacitance and two connecting terminals configured to fix the pins to the electrodes respectively. The connecting terminals are formed into such a shape as to include parts parallel to the electrodes and parts orthogonal to the electrodes by bending the terminals at bends, respectively. The parallel parts are fixed to sides of the electrodes opposed to sides of the electrodes facing each other, respectively. The orthogonal parts are fixed to the pins respectively. One of the terminals has a larger thickness than the other thereby to have a sufficient stiffness to hold the detection device. At least one of the terminals is deformable by a weaker force than a force causing the electrodes to deform.
