摘要： A cooling system for use in a UV curing apparatus is disclosed. The cooling system includes a UV curing apparatus and a water supply element connected to the UV curing apparatus for cooling the curing apparatus via a first solenoid valve. A CPU is responsive to the UV curing apparatus for controlling the status of the first solenoid valve. An inverter is connected to the CPU and its output is coupled to a second solenoid valve. The second solenoid valve connects an air purging element to the curing apparatus. The air purging element provides clean dry air to force the water out of the curing apparatus.

The apparatus comprises a cradle or setter for supporting the ceramic structure which is made of a light-weight, tough, temperature-resistant material which does not absorb energy in the radio frequency range, for example, fiberglass reinforced polyester. The setter is also characterized by many apertures to allow passage of air or moisture, and is designed to avoid trapped air volumes.

摘要： A technique is disclosed for drying and curing a liquid film applied to a former which is reactive to radio frequency energy so as to generate heat. A liquid film, such as latex, is applied to a metallic former which is then disposed in the proximity of an applicator which propagates radio frequency energy. In response, by a process of induction the former generates heat and thereby advantageously dries said film in an inside-to-outside manner. A superior product is produced which is substantially free of defects and blemishes.

摘要： The invention concerns a method and equipment for the compensation of voltage increase in electrodes of a apparatus used to process dielectric materials. In the apparatus the electrodes are arranged parallel, at a constant distance from each other across the conveying path of the material to be treated. Electric power to the electrodes is supplied by connecting the adjacent electrodes to a opposite pole of a high frequency power source. In order to minimize the voltage increase in the electrodes, a reverse magnetic field is brought to influence with the magnetic field of each electrode, by arranging a return path for the electrode current at a suitable distance from the electrode and connecting these return paths to the return paths of the adjacent electrodes.

摘要： A method and/or apparatus for drying material is provided, the method comprising the steps of disposing the material in a heating unit to have the heating unit heat at least part of the liquid particles of the material, disposing a charged electrode unit so as to be adjacent one side of the material when the material is disposed in the heating unit and to define two adjacent electrostatic fields that are substantially constant and non-oscillating so that the fields at least partially extend through the material while the material is disposed in the heating unit, moving the material in one direction through the heating unit to cause at least a portion of the material to have the heated particles of liquid thereof serially move through the electrostatic fields whereby the electrostatic fields augment the drying effect of the heating unit on the material, disposing a nozzle between the adjacent electrostatic fields, directing a fluid flow through the nozzle so as to impinge against the material, and forming the heating unit to comprise an infrared heating unit.

摘要： A mobile paint application and microwave drying apparatus has a downwardly open hollow frame forming a microwave cavity movable over a surface on rollers. The interior cavity of the frame is coated with microwave absorbent material, as are the rollers. The frame in the front and rear conforms to the rollers with a certain gap and ends above the surface at a certain distance. Treads extend between the front and rear rollers on each side and have a thickness which is greater than the gap and distance so as to create a circuitous path from the cavity which blocks microwave radiation. A paint spray nozzle is located in the cavity and applies paint to the surface. This paint is rapidly dried by a microwave generator which is positioned in the cavity and directs radiation onto the wet paint.
