    • A cooling system for use in a UV curing apparatus is disclosed. The cooling system includes a UV curing apparatus and a water supply element connected to the UV curing apparatus for cooling the curing apparatus via a first solenoid valve. A CPU is responsive to the UV curing apparatus for controlling the status of the first solenoid valve. An inverter is connected to the CPU and its output is coupled to a second solenoid valve. The second solenoid valve connects an air purging element to the curing apparatus. The air purging element provides clean dry air to force the water out of the curing apparatus.

    • The invention concerns a method and equipment for the compensation of voltage increase in electrodes of a apparatus used to process dielectric materials. In the apparatus the electrodes are arranged parallel, at a constant distance from each other across the conveying path of the material to be treated. Electric power to the electrodes is supplied by connecting the adjacent electrodes to a opposite pole of a high frequency power source. In order to minimize the voltage increase in the electrodes, a reverse magnetic field is brought to influence with the magnetic field of each electrode, by arranging a return path for the electrode current at a suitable distance from the electrode and connecting these return paths to the return paths of the adjacent electrodes.

    • An electric garbage disposer of a construction comprising a container means having an opening defined therein and made of microwave shielding material; and a garbage receptacle having a receiving mouth defined therein and made of material having both of a microwave permeable property and a gas permeable property. The garbage receptacle is adapted to be removably accommodated within the container means with the mouth substantially aligned with the opening of the container means. A microwave generating means is used for radiating microwaves into the container means to heat garbage contained in the garbage receptacle within the container means. A water component produced by the garbage as a result of microwave heating is drained to an outside of the garbage disposer.

    • A mobile paint application and microwave drying apparatus has a downwardly open hollow frame forming a microwave cavity movable over a surface on rollers. The interior cavity of the frame is coated with microwave absorbent material, as are the rollers. The frame in the front and rear conforms to the rollers with a certain gap and ends above the surface at a certain distance. Treads extend between the front and rear rollers on each side and have a thickness which is greater than the gap and distance so as to create a circuitous path from the cavity which blocks microwave radiation. A paint spray nozzle is located in the cavity and applies paint to the surface. This paint is rapidly dried by a microwave generator which is positioned in the cavity and directs radiation onto the wet paint.
