摘要： The seasonally adjusting apparatus for collecting solar thermal energy comprises a solar thermal collector, a top panel, a bottom panel, and a frame. The solar thermal collector absorbs sunlight to produce thermal energy. The top panel and the bottom panel are positioned on opposite sides of the solar thermal collector and regulates how much sunlight is absorbed by the solar thermal collector during each season. The top panel and the bottom panel each have a shading surface and a reflecting surface. The shading surface casts a shadow over the solar thermal collector during the summer months when the sun's position is higher in the sky. The reflecting surface bounces more sunlight onto the solar thermal collector during the winter months when the sun's position is lower in the sky. The frame properly positions each component so that the solar thermal collector absorbs the appropriate amount of sunlight during each season.

A curve adjusting device 27 contacts the rear surface of the reflecting mirror 24 according to the tilting position of the reflecting mirror 24 to change the degree of curve of the reflecting surface.

摘要： The techniques described herein relate to a solar collector with variable heat release and to a method for operating such solar collectors. The solar collector comprises a housing and an absorber arranged in the housing for purposes of releasing heat to a heat-transfer medium that flows at least partially through the housing, whereby the housing has at least one transparent cover to allow incident sunlight to pass through onto the absorber and to modify the heat release to the environment, whereby the cover is arranged in the housing in such a way that at least the mean distance between the cover and the absorber can be varied in order to adjust the heat release. Increasing the mean distance leads to a decrease of the heat release to the environment, while reducing the mean distance leads to an increase of the heat release to the environment.
