The connecting element has flexibility to allow the connecting element to be perfectly fitted to a user's nose bridge. Furthermore, flexible elements are disposed between the buckling devices and outer sides of the left and right frames to allow the swimming goggles to be fitted to the user's face. Accordingly, the swimming goggles are ergonomically designed and provide comfort in wearing without water leakage.

摘要： An adjustable goggle with eyepieces that are individually custom fitted over the user's eye sockets. The goggle includes a strap configured to extend around the user's head, two face conforming eyepieces affixed and configured on the strap so that they may be positioned over the user's eyes, and a three axis, adjustable nosepiece that extends between the two eyepieces. The nosepiece is made of one or more elastic strands that have the same or different resilient properties. The ends of the strands are affixed to the eyepieces to apply a resilient force thereon. During use, the user selects the desired nosepiece so that the eyepieces may be independently aligned themselves over the eye sockets and form a comfortable, watertight seal against the surrounding facial tissues when the goggles are worn. If needed, an optional sealing pad may be affixed to the inside surface of each eyepiece to provide a watertight seal against the surrounding facial tissues.

Each of the strap apparatuses includes a coupling element, a propping plate, a releasing plate, and a head strap having multiple retaining slots. The coupling element has a base defining an opening therein for receiving the head strap. The propping plate is mounted to the base with one end thereof, and the other end of the propping plate forms a propping wall in the opening and is spaced away from the base. The releasing plate is provided with a pair of guiding walls on opposite sides thereof with respect to two opposite sides of the opening. Each of the guiding walls has a hook portion. An engaging portion is disposed between the guiding walls with respect to the propping wall.

The strap mechanism includes a head strap defining a plurality of stop grooves therein. Each control member has an engaging portion for engaging with the left frame/the right frame, an operating portion formed opposite to the engaging portion, a pivot portion provided between the engaging portion and the operating portion, and a bias portion near a side of the operating portion for abutting against stop grooves of the head strap. The pivot portion abuts against the bases of the strap mechanism and drives the operating portion upward. When the operating portion is pushed inward, the bias portion displaces inward correspondingly and disengages from the stop grooves.
