摘要： The description presented herein and illustrated by FIGS. 1 through 8 pertains to the invention that provides temporary securing of track-mounted hairpieces. This device consists of secondary frame 2 that is permanently attached to secondary frame 2 in such fashion as to mildly distort secondary frame 2 across its longitudinal plane. This allows primary frame 2 to be selectively pressed into a convex or compound shape relative to secondary frame 2. A plurality of upwardly projecting teeth 6 allow one or more track-mounted hairpieces to be secured by pressing between said teeth and primary frame 2 or by interweaving between said teeth. Retainer band 10 can also be pressed around upwardly projecting teeth 6 as an additional securing means. Downwardly projecting teeth 4 extending from the horizontal section of primary frame 2 are then inserted into scalp hair closely against the head 14. Secondary frame 2 is then pressed into its convex position, which causes scalp hair to be grasped securely between said frame and downwardly projecting teeth 8.

摘要： A method for attaching decorative hair to natural hair is provided. The method includes steps of bringing the decorative hair adjacent a part of the natural hair and attaching the decorative hair with the part of the natural hair with a hair-attaching device. The two steps are repeated until desired decoration effects are obtained. The hair-attaching device includes a first body having a plurality of first forks extending therefrom, and a second body having a plurality of second forks extending therefrom. The first body and the second body are connected with each other in a way that the first body can pivot with respect to the second body. At least part of the first forks positioned between the two adjacent second forks when the first body and the second body are pivoted toward each other to attach the decorative hair to the natural hair.

The attachment has a pair of free ends and male and female snap fastener components respectively located near either free end. Attached to the flexible band are a plurality of hair strands and a pair of complementary snap fastener components mated to the snap fastener components of the attachment. This arrangement allows the hair strands to be selectively coupled to the attachment. The attachment can also include a plurality of inwardly projecting comb-like tangs. The comb-like tangs prevent the hairpiece from being easily displaced after being positioned on the wearer's head. A method of attaching the hairpiece to existing hair is also provided.
