摘要： There is provided a novel device whereby a prospective purchaser of wigs is enabled to determine the appearance of the wig on said purchaser's head without actually placing it thereon. The novel device comprises a concave mirror of predetermined focal length and a wig support means in combination therewith whereby the wig may be placed above and around said mirror and the prospective purchaser can view the reflection of her face in the mirror in such a manner that the wig accurately reflects the appearance of said wig on and about the purchaser's face.

摘要： A wig includes hair strands secured together by a support structure to form a rounded cap. A system of alteration members includes elongated seams secured to the support structure to define an area of the support structure. The areas defined by the alteration members are preselected to facilitate alteration of the rounded cap by removal of portions of the support structure from the defined areas. The system of alteration members includes transverse members having ends located on the opposite sides of the cap and wedge shaped darts arranged in symmetrical pairs on opposite sides of the cap. A portion of the hair strands is provided by sections having lines of stitching in an edge portion and arranged in layered fashion. Elongated connector strips extend across the layered hair sections to form an orthogonal network structure.

摘要： A hairpiece including a base having a first pair of elastic loops connected to one edge of the base at opposing corners, a second pair of elastic loops connected to an opposite edge of the base at opposing corners, and a bottom elastic loop connected to a bottom edge of the base. Hair is woven into the base. The first and second pairs of loops and the bottom loop of the hairpiece are sized and shaped for attachment to and removal from a hair accessory, such as a hair comb clip. The first and second pairs of loops wrap around the teeth of the clip, and the bottom loop wraps around the handles of the clip. The hair of the hairpiece extends away from the clip and may be styled by the user.

摘要： A partial wig has a fabric support to which the hairs of the wig are secured, the support being semi-circular with a diametrical straight edge. A barrette anchorage member comprises a folded over fabric defining a conduit extending along the straight edge of and stitched to the wig support. The conduit receives a spring member of a hair barrette having a base plate to which an ornamental bow is secured and a hair retainer which rotatably latches to the base plate with the spring and anchorage members sandwiched therebetween. The spring member resiliently engages a slot of the retainer, locking the hair of a wearer and the anchorage member in place. Different barrettes may be used with the same wig and anchorage member assembly or different wigs or head covers such as veils with their attached anchorage members may be used with the same or different barrettes in interchangeable relation.
