    • The invention relates to a firearm (10), in particular a single or multi-shot repeating rifle comprising a stock (11), a barrel (30) axially displaceable relative to the stock (11) and resting on or in a linear guide (20), a cartridge chamber to receive a cartridge being constituted in said barrel, further a breech (40) fitted with a breech cap (41) to seal the cartridge chamber and axially affixable in the barrel end (32) when the firearm (10) is closed, and further a locking unit (80) to lock the firearm into the closed position. The linear guide (20) comprises at least one guide rod (21), guide fork or the like linked or linkable to the barrel (30) and guided in sliding manner within the stock (11). This design leads to a compact and easily manufactured firearm with a slender and attractive appearance. The firearm (10) furthermore is made of fewer parts, resulting in simple disassembly and small shipping size.

    • An air spring hammer device that includes a drive piston, moving axially back and forth, with a front face of hollow embodiment and a hammer piston moving in said hollow. A ventilation slot is embodied in a guide wall of the drive piston. The drive piston may be guided in a guide tube. The guide tube comprises several idle openings. A moving control element is arranged on the exterior of the guide tube, in which control openings, corresponding to the idle openings, are provided. In an idle operating mode, the control element is in an open position, via which the ventilation slot, the idle openings and the control openings can be brought into connection with the environment.

    • A semiconductor laser device comprising an optically pumped surface emitting vertical emitter (1), which emits in a vertical main radiation direction, and at least one monolithically integrated pump radiation source (2) for optically pumping the vertical emitter (1), wherein the pump radiation source (2) emits pump radiation in a pump main radiation direction running transversely with respect to the vertical main radiation direction. In a first embodiment, the semiconductor laser device includes at least one vertical section of the pump radiation source (2) that is embodied in index-guiding fashion for the pump radiation in a lateral direction transversely with respect to the pump main radiation direction and transversely with respect to the vertical main radiation direction. In a second embodiment, the semiconductor laser device includes a pump radiation source (2) that has a smaller width in a lateral direction transversely with respect to the pump main radiation direction in at least one vertical section than in a further vertical section. What is achieved in this way given suitable dimensioning is that modes of the pump radiation are forced completely or at least partly in a vertical direction from this section, whereby it is possible to reduce absorption losses of the pump radiation at conductive layers.
