The shaft seal devices include an oil seal on the side of the bearing, a packing case on the side of the rotor chamber, and a gas seal. An end of the packing case on the side of the bearing and an end of the oil seal on the side of the rotor chamber are fitted and fixed by interference fit to form a gas seal accommodation space, the gas seal accommodation space accommodating the seal ring.

摘要： A seal ring for an electrochemical processor does not slip or deflect laterally when pressed against a wafer surface. The seal ring may be on a rotor of the processor, with the seal ring having an outer wall joined to a tip arc through an end. The outer wall may be a straight wall. A relatively rigid support ring may be attached to the seal ring, to provide a more precise sealing dimension. Knife edge seal rings that slip or deflect laterally on the wafer surface may also be used. In these designs, the slipping is substantially uniform and consistent, resulting in improved performance.

The seal housing is disposed in the exterior of the treatment container. The seal housing is in close contact with the treatment container around the opening, and accommodates a part of the pin. The seal member is in close contact with an inner peripheral surface of the seal housing, and in close contact with an outer peripheral surface of the pin so as to be slidable relative to the pin. The exhaust port is in connection with the seal housing in a communicated manner.

摘要： A valve arrangement includes various improvements useable in the context of a fluid additive system, such as a water softener. For example, the valve assembly may include a seal assembly engaged by a reciprocating piston, in which the seal assembly includes a minimal number of parts, is easily assembled, and can be easily inserted in the bore of the valve body without jeopardizing the integrity of the seals. The valve assembly may further include a quick-disconnect system which allows a “control head” including a valve actuation system and electronic controls to be disconnected from the rest of the valve arrangement with only a partial rotation of the control head. The valve assembly may also include a venturi used for drawing regeneration fluid into the system, and an associated venturi cleaner system which allows a user to unclog the fluid-flow orifice of the venturi without any disassembly of parts of the valve arrangement.
