摘要： A method for fabricating olefin tarpaulins by treating both sides of a base fabric woven from high strength polyester filaments with a coating composition using an extruder followed by compressing the coated polyester fabrics with a calendering roller. The coating composition is obtained by dry-blending or melt-blending LLDPE (linear low density polyethylene) or LDPE (low density polyethylene) in an amount of 15.about.94.5% by weight with an elastomer of ethylene-.alpha.-olefin co-polymer of 5.about.60% by weight which are (i) ethylene propylene rubbers or (ii) co-polymers of ethylene and octene or butene; coloring master batch chip in an amount of 0.5.about.15% by weight obtained by mixing LLDPE or LDPE with pigments or titanium dioxide; and adhesion-preventing master batch chip of 0.about.10% by weight obtained by mixing LLDPE or LDPE with silica or calcium carbonate.

摘要： Water repellant, stain resistant, weatherable, and transfer printable coated fabrics are provided by coating synthetic woven textile fabric with an IPN (interpenetrating polymer network)--containing aqueous coating which is composed of both acrylic and polyurethane lattices also including a crosslinker. Upon elevated temperature cure, the coating forms an interpenetrating polymer network and provides a non-leather like fabric with the hand and feel of high quality woven fabric with the ability to transmit water vapor while being virtually totally water repellant.

The textile support materials coated with the coating composition are suitable for use in building protection and in the geotextile sector.

The enhanced properties are obtained by contacting the laminate or any of its components with an aqueous dispersion of polymer particles of an organic polymer having pendent fluorinated alkyl groups and in which the particles are very small, being on the order of 0.01-0.1 micrometer. The small size promotes uniformity of coating when the laminate or components are coated with the dispersion and then heated to flow the particles together.

摘要： A product is obtained by a process involving binding two or more layers of tissue fabrics derived from cellular pulp or cellulose fiber. (2) An additional binder composition is applied to this prelaminate thereby affixing a further single layer of tissue, and drying. Optionally, step (2) can be repeated one or more times.

According to the process, designs of an original can faithfully be transferred to a substrate for dyeing having any desired substrate on which a fluororesin film having high resistances to light, solvents, heat and stains is laminated.
