    • The invention is a method for reduction of sulfur trioxide in flue gases which includes (a) combusting air and petroleum coke in a combustion zone to produce a particulates, sulfur trioxide, and sulfur dioxide-containing combustion product gas; (b) passing the combustion product gas from step (a) to a dry electrostatic precipitator for removal of particulates and recovering the combustion product gas substantially free of particulates, or alternatively rearranging the steps so so that step "b" follows steps "c" and "d"; (c) admixing particulates with the combustion product gas from step (b), to produce a first mixture; (d) passing the first mixture from step (c) to an air preheater for cooling the first mixture and heating the air for combustion with the petroleum coke, wherein the sulfur trioxide in the first mixture condenses on the particulates, to produce a second mixture containing combustion product gas containing sulfur trioxide condensed on particulates and sulfur dioxide; (e) passing the second mixture from step (d) to a wet scrubber for removal of substantially all of the sulfur dioxide, sulfur trioxide, and particulates, to produce a combustion product gas substantially free of sulfur dioxide, sulfur trioxide, and particulates; and (f) passing the combustion product gas substantially free of sulfur dioxide, sulfur trioxide, and particulates from step (e) to a stack for release to the atmosphere.

    • Easy-Air (-) Ion Generator: The present invention provides an electric device that creates ‘corona discharge’ for cleaning the air from airborne/atmospheric particulate matter including gaseous and biological contaminates. The invention uses high voltage DC current that performs two functions/phases: (1) The first function has two pairs of positive and negative polarity, therein for building a force field between the metal plates for attracting airborne particles, gaseous and biological contaminates that are incinerated. SEE FIG. #1. (2) The second function has negative current wires that goes across the force field, which comes into contact with the filtered air separating negative ions that flow into the room or local area. SEE FIG. #2. The negative ions attach themselves to any particulate matter including soot, tobacco smoke, smog, oil smoke, fly ash, cement dust, suspended atmospheric dust, settling dust, and heavy dust and with its increased molecular weight and pulls the particulate matter to the ground or surface reducing/related atmospheric particulate matter to enhance air quality. Any related airborne/atmospheric particles with a heavier molecular weight due to the negative ionization process are also attracted to the positive current force field and are re-filtered to enhance air quality. SEE FIG. #1. Additionally, the corona discharge is used to split the diatomic oxygen molecule into valent oxygen atoms. These oxygen atoms have a negative charge and will bond quickly with another oxygen molecule to produce ozone. For each split oxygen molecule 2 ozone molecules are produced. SEE FIG. #2.

    • The present invention relates to the technical field of air filter products, and more particularly to an integrated electrostatic dust collection device for efficiently capturing particles in air and an electret processing technique thereof. The main body of the dust collection device is formed by stacking a plurality of layers of dust collection boards. The dust collection boards are integrated with hole arrays for air to pass through, the dust collection boards are micro-foaming, to which plastic materials of an electret enhancement material, a negative ion emission material, and a magnetic material can be added, the upper and lower surfaces of each layer of dust collection board are disposed with an enclosed conductive film applied with a high-voltage electric field, and one or more layers of dust collection boards can be installed with an ion emission device; at a side of the stacked structure, a high-voltage power supply for supplying power to electrodes of high and low potentials is packaged, the stacked structure and the high-voltage power supply are integrally packaged in the outer frame of the protection structure, and a low-voltage direct current or mains power is used externally to supply power. After the filter is processed by the linear polarization electret technique, a practical product is formed. The present invention adopts the technical solution to form an air purification device that is capable of eliminating hidden troubles of inter-electrode lighting and electric shock in use, has an easily washable, reusable with long service life, low air-resistance, and high-efficiency particle filter, and is applicable to domestic or industrial use.
