    • An information recording apparatus, an information recording system, a program, and a recording medium are disclosed, by which contents are legally recorded to another information recording medium. Copy-once contents stored in a first optical disk are written to the second optical disk. After this writing is completed, a laser light having power equal to recording power is irradiated to the first optical disk so that reproduction of the copy-once contents in the first optical disk is made impossible. In this way, the copy-once contents stored in the first optical disk are erased, and the contents are moved to the second optical disk without jeopardizing the “copy-once” attribute of the contents. That is, the contents can be legally moved to another information recording medium.

The firewall apparatus includes: a distribution management table for managing a user name and a virtual firewall ID; a part configured to receive authentication information for network connection from a user terminal, and hold a user name included in the authentication information; a part configured to report the authentication information to the authentication server; and a part configured to receive an authentication response from the authentication server, and hold a user ID, included in the authentication response, to be provided to the user terminal. The firewall apparatus registers the user ID in the distribution management table associating the user ID with the user name.

    • In a dual loop PLL having a frequency comparison loop and a phase comparison loop, when an input control circuit 30 of an up/down counter 8 receives an UP signal from a frequency comparator 7, the input control circuit 30 outputs a positive value of a ½ of a previous addition/subtraction result value. When the input control circuit 30 receives a DOWN signal from the frequency comparator 7, the input control circuit 30 outputs a negative value of a ½ of the previous addition/subtraction result value. A register 33 stores a count value. The adder 31 adds the output of the input control circuit 30 to the output of the register 33. Thus, the up/down counter 8 increments or decrements by a ½ value of the previous addition/subtraction result value, and the dual loop PLL performs a frequency comparison based on a dichotomizing search method. Therefore, even when the output frequency is high, the frequency comparison is efficiently performed, and the lock up time is reduced.
