摘要： The present invention is intended to measure a three-dimensional position of a tracking object snapped by a camera. The invention is based upon a measuring device using an image provided with an image data input part for inputting an image of a tracking object snapped by a camera and a tracking part for calculating a position of the tracking object and the tracking part moves a frame for extracting image data based upon the image, extracts image data included in the frame from the image in each moved position, counts the number of pixels having a hue feature based upon the extracted image data, determines the position of the frame in which the counted number of pixels is maximum for every hue feature and calculates the position of the tracking object based upon the determined position of the frame.

摘要： A plurality of light receiving detectors receive a plurality of segments of a beam returning from an optical disc when a reading beam of light is radiated to the optical disc. An optical pickup assembly produces a plurality of signals from the beam segments in accordance with, for instance, optical intensities of the beam segments. A level adjusting circuit adjusts signal levels of these signals such that each of the signal levels of the signals becomes equal to a reference level. The reference level is determined from at least one of the signal levels of the received beam segments.

摘要： An information recording apparatus irradiates a recording light, such as a laser light, on a recording medium, such as various kinds of optical discs, and records information. A recording pulse signal is generated based on a recording signal corresponding to the information to be recorded. The recording pulse signal is also called “strategy signal”, and the signal includes driving pulses which drive a light source for forming a recording mark on the recording medium. As to the recording light such as the laser light, the high frequency signal is superimposed for decreasing occurrence of noise due to mode hopping. The high frequency signal is generated as a digital signal, and the signal is added to the recording pulse signal to generate a driving pulse signal. Then, the light source is driven and the recording light is emitted. By generating the high frequency signal as the digital signal, it is possible to control a frequency and a phase thereof with high accuracy.

摘要： The present invention provides an optical recording medium, in which levels of wobble signals extracted from a recording area formed snakily, a reproduction exclusive area and an impossible area are maintained constant. On DVD-RW, groove tracks are snakily formed on a groove section on which recording information is recorded, and pit strings where a plurality of phase pits wave are arranged on the impossible area and the reproduction exclusive area which prevent illegal copying. On the respective areas, pit depths (groove depths), duty of the pit strings and wobbling amplitudes are set according to predetermined conditions so that the output levels of the wobble signals extracted based on the wobbling amplitudes can be maintained constant on the respective areas. As a result, synchronous control can be made accurately at the time of recording and reproduction on/from the DVD-RW.
