    • There is provided an optical apparatus which has excellent assembly performance, can suppress an increase in cost, and attain a decrease in thickness. The optical apparatus includes a board (1) having a photographing optical system and a mechanical system mounted on its surface. A plurality of opening portions (1a, 1b, 1c) are formed in the board (1). The opening portion (1a) is sealed with a sealing member such as a glass member to allow a light beam to pass and prevent dust and the like from entering the storage space for parts between the board (1) and a shield case (49). The photographing optical system mounted on the board (1) includes a stop unit (30) for adjusting the light amount of an object image guided through the opening portion (1a), and prism-like optical members (G1, G2, G3, G4), each consisting of, e.g., a glass or plastic material and having a sculptured surface as a reflecting surface. Light emerging from the optical member (G4) is received by a solid-state image sensing element (2) mounted on the lower surface of the board (1) through the opening portion (1c). The board may be made up of a plurality of base members which are comprised of different materials joined together.

    • At the time of casting a structural material for a casing, metal pipes to be used as passages to and from a tilt actuator of a swash plate are integrally embedded in a cast body of the structural material. In a casting stage of the structural material for the casing, metal pipes are set in position within a casting mold, and then molten metallic material is introduced into the mold. A main casing for a hydraulic motor is formed out of the cast structural material by finishing its inner and outer peripheral surfaces and outer ends of embedded metal pipes. The resulting casing has the metal pipe conduits embedded in its cylindrical body portion from its open end toward its bottom portion with cylinders for a tilt actuator, the embedded metal pipe conduits providing passages on the inner peripheral side for supplying and discharging tilt control hydraulic fluid to and from the tilt actuator.

    • A recording paper sorting and discharging device designed to improve the construction of copiers, printers, or the like, in sorting, separating and discharging paper in which the ends of one side of a pair of paper discharging roller shafts are shifted in a direction essentially parallel to a recording paper discharging direction while the other ends of the shafts remain stationary. The paper discharging roller shafts each have at least one roller, the rollers being separated from each other for a given period of time and, in response to detect signals, the rollers disposed on the shafts then contact each other. The recording paper can thereby be discharged obliquely onto a paper discharging tray. Alternatively, a pair of paper discharging roller shafts, each shaft having both a drive roller fixed on one side thereof in an axial direction and a driven paper discharging roller rotatably mounted on the other side thereof such that the respective drive and driven rollers on each shaft press against each other. By cutting off one of the paper discharging roller shafts from the drive system of the device, the recording paper is discharged smoothly and at an angle without generating wrinkles in the paper so the paper is thereafter presorted.
