    • A semiconductor memory device according to the present invention includes a first wiring region and a second wiring region located adjacent to the first wiring region. First lines located in the first wiring region include a first portion, a first lead portion and first inclined portion. Second lines located in the second wiring region include a second portion, a second lead portion and a second inclined portion. The first and second portions are located in parallel with a same pitch, the first and second lead portions are located with a pitch which is larger than the pitch of the first and second portions, the first and second inclined portions extend the same direction at a predetermined angle.

    • A network system has a firewall that connects an external network and an internal network. A terminal device is provided on the external network. An application server is provided on the internal network and provides data to the terminal device based on a request from the terminal device. An external server is provided on a DMZ of the firewall or on the external network, and relays communication between the terminal device and the application server based on the request from the terminal device through an internal server. The internal server is provided on the internal network, and relays communication between the external server and the application server. The internal server has an encrypting unit that encrypts the packet in such a manner that an encrypted packet is able to be decrypted only by the terminal device.

    • A verification data generating apparatus generates data that can be stored in a terminal device without sustaining unauthorized operations and has assured continuity in the order of being output. In the apparatus, a verification data holding element holds a verification data. A data generation element generates a data body at a predetermined timing. Whenever the data body is generated, a verification value generation element generates a new verification value based on the verification value held in the verification value holding element and the data body newly generated. The verification value held in the verification value holding element is then updated with the new verification value. A data storage element stores the data bodies generated by the data generating element in order. On receiving a verification data outputting request, a verification data outputting element generates a signature value based on the verification value held in the verification value holding element and outputs verification data generated by concatenating the signature value with the data body stored in the data storing element.
