    • Provided are a method, system, and article of manufacture for converting backup copies of objects created using a first backup program to backup copies created using a second backup program. A plurality of backup copies of versions of an object are created using a first backup program, wherein the object has an object name. The first backup program is used to restore at least one of the backup copies to a restored version of the object having a name different from the object name. A second backup program is used to create a backup copy of each restored version of the object. A name of a designated object is assigned to each backup copy created using the second backup program. Metadata of each backup copy created using the second backup program is updated with metadata for the designated object.

    • A system, method and apparatus is capable of producing layers of various materials stacked on one another on a substrate without exposing the substrate to the pressure and contaminants of ambient air until the stack is complete. In one aspect, the stack of layers can include both an insulative layer of one or more insulative films, and a conductive metal layer of one or more conductive metal layer films. In another aspect, a bias signal of positive and negative voltage pulses may be applied to a target of a deposition chamber to facilitate deposition of the target material in a suitable fashion. In yet another aspect, one or more of the deposition chambers may have associated therewith a pump which combines a turbomolecular pump and a cryogenic pump to generate an ultra high vacuum in that chamber. Other features are described and claimed.

    • Within a distributed data processing domain including a requester data processing node and one or more target data processing nodes, an update synchronization of a domain information file as stored on each target data processing node with each domain information file including a local information file having local information an individual operation of the requester data processing node and a global information file having global information associated with a collective operation of all of the data processing nodes. First, the requester data processing node detects domain update information including local update information or global update information. Second, the requester data processing node synchronizes an update of the local information file or the global information file of each domain information file as stored on the target data processing node(s) based on the respective local update information or the respective global update information of the detected domain update information.
