    • A seat storage assembly is provided for an automotive vehicle having a floor, a roof, and a rear liftgate extending between the floor and the roof. A pair of spaced apart and parallel tracks is disposed along the floor and extends between fore and aft ends. A recess is formed in the floor rearward of the aft ends of the tracks. A second row seat is slidably engaged and pivotally coupled to the tracks for moving between forward and rearward seating positions, and a stowed position within the recess. A third row swing seat is pivotally coupled to the roof for moving between a seating position and a raised stowed position. Moving the third row swing seat into the raised stowed position enables the second row seat to move between the forward and rearward seating positions, and the stowed position within the recess.

    • A head and restraint assembly for a motor vehicle seat having a seat back includes a support member that is removably securable to the seat back. A body portion including a foam cushion is disposed adjacent the support member. A pivot tube is fixedly secured to the support member. The pivot tube defines a slot cut through the pivot tube. A spring is fixedly secured to the pivot tube and extends through a portion of the pivot tube. The head restraint assembly also includes a pivot rod that is disposed within the pivot tube. The pivot rod includes a guide pin that extends out of the pivot rod and is received by the slot. The pivot rod is fixedly secured to the body portion such that rotation of the pivot rod with respect to the pivot tube pivots the body portion with respect to the support member to move the body portion between a use and a tilted position.

    • A power retracting assembly includes an actuator, an output shaft operatively coupled to the actuator, and an outer plate rotatably coupled to the output shaft about an upper axis. A rigid link fixed to the output shaft pivots about a primary lower axis. A bracket pivots about a secondary lower axis. A fastener extends from the outer plate through the bracket. As the outer plate rotates about the primary lower axis, the fastener also rotates, pulling the bracket about the secondary lower axis. A stop extending from the bracket travels along an anchor between a seating end and a stowed end for defining movement of the link and the seat assembly between the seating and stowed positions.

    • A seat assembly supports an occupant above a floor having a load floor and is stowable within a recess below the floor. The seat assembly includes a seat cushion extending between a seating surface and a bottom surface. A seat back is pivotally coupled to the seat cushion for movement between a seating position and a forwardly folded dump position overlying the seat cushion. A riser mechanism extends between the bottom surface of the seat cushion and the recess for allowing selective movement of the seat assembly between a seating position to support the occupant above the floor and a stowed position disposed within the recess in the floor. The riser mechanism includes a pair of front legs having a lower end pivotally coupled to the recess within the floor and an upper end pivotally coupled to the seat cushion, and a pair of rear legs having a lower end pivotally coupled to the recess within the floor and an upper end pivotally coupled to the seat cushion. A first locking strut extends between each of the front legs and the recess within the floor. First and second release handles independently unlock the locking struts to allow the riser mechanism to pivot the seat assembly from the seating position to the stowed position within the recess in the floor.
