Some settling may take place in funnel 30. The means 24 comprises a deflector member 55 having helically curved flutes 62 and a shield member 56. The inlet 18 is provided with a one-way ball valve 25. The filter element 40 (preferably containing resin impregnated cellulose) is mounted on outlet conduit 21 having two inlet openings 50 (only one shown) at its upper end, and is clamped between cap 39 and spring 43. The apparatus is mounted by brackets 16. The apparatus may comprise two bodies mounted in series, the filter element of the first body being coarser than the filter element of the second body, or in parallel, in which case each body may be used independently. The body portion 11 may have a sight glass for noting the level of separated denser fluid therein. The apparatus may be provided with means for sensing the level of separated denser fluid in portion 11, the sensing means when a desired level is reached, actuating a control device to open the valve at the bottom of portion 11 and to operate a pump for discharging the denser fluid.

摘要： A system is provided for feeding a process or bath with a high purity liquid and when needed upgrading or maintaining the purity of such liquid when delivered from a bulk shipping container. In the system, the liquid in which a high degree of purity is desired is pumped through a filter and sensor which detects the level of particulates while maintaining the integrity of the product against contamination. The purity of the liquid is upgraded by pumping, i.e., recirculating, the liquid through a filtration media while sensing the purity, and returning the processing liquid when the desired level of purity is reached. A gas vent filter is used to purify air or vapor passing into or out of the system avoids pressure or vacuum buildup.

摘要： The present invention is directed to methods and apparatus for screening a pulp suspension where the pulp suspension is directed to a screening space, where a part of the fibres in the pulp is screened using a drum-type rotor. The residual pulp suspension is then directed to a dilution space where it is mixed with recirculated pulp flow and the pulp suspension in the dilution space will be screened. Resulting preliminary reject flow is directed to a mixing space where it mixes with a dilution flow. The recirculated pulp flow is then directed back to the dilution space.
