摘要： In a method and a corresponding device for producing an extrudate, starting products are introduced into an extrusion container, heated, and homogeneously intermixed by dual asymmetric centrifugation of the extrusion container. The extrusion container is rotated about a primary rotation axis that extends outside the extrusion container, and is simultaneously rotated about a secondary rotation axis that extends through the extrusion container and is situated at an acute angle with respect to the primary rotation axis. Lastly, the intermixed starting products are jointly extruded from the extrusion container. The method and the corresponding device are particularly suitable for processing small and very small substance quantities.

摘要： The invention is: a fiber produced by forming a fiber using pellets, and annealing the fiber at 150 to 220° C., the pellets being formed of a resin powder of a cycloolefin polymer, the resin powder having a loose bulk density of 0.3 to 0.6 g/cc when measured using 100 cc of the resin powder: a method for producing the fiber. The invention provides a method for producing a cycloolefin polymer fiber that exhibits good productivity and strength during spinning, and a low thermal shrinkage ratio.

摘要： A shaft assembly for use in a temperature-controlled K-mixer is provided, along with the mixer including the shaft assembly. The shaft assembly includes an inner hollow shaft defining an inner passage, and an outer hollow shaft coaxially surrounding the inner hollow shaft. An outer passage extends between the inner and outer hollow shafts. The shaft also includes a plurality of blades extending from the outer hollow shaft, for mixing the material. Each of the blades is provided with channels. The inner passage, the channels and the outer passage form a continuous flow path allowing a pressurized fluid to circulate within inner and outer hollow shafts and the blades, for controlling temperature of the shafts and the blades. The channels allow a flow of the fluid in the blades in an opposite direction of a rotational direction of the shaft assembly.

A method of making the composition and its uses, for example its use as a capstock material, are also described.
