    • The present invention relates to an adherent interface dressing intended for application directly to a wound.Said adherent interface dressing comprises a non-adherent cohesive gel formed from a hydrophobic elastomeric matrix consisting of a styrene-(ethylene/butylene)-styrene or styrene-(ethylene/propylene)-styrene triblock elastomer optionally associated with a styrene-(ethylene/butylene) or styrene-(ethylene/propylene) diblock copolymer; said elastomer being highly plasticized by means of a mineral oil, and containing dispersed therein a small quantity of hydrophilic particles of a hydrocolloid; and a flexible open-mesh fabric, said fabric comprising threads coated with the non-adherent cohesive gel in such a way as to leave the meshes substantially unsealed, characterized in that the fabric is a heat-set knit with weft yarns, said yarns being continuous multifilament yarns with non-elastic filaments, whereof the extensibility in the transverse direction measured in accordance with standard EN 13726-4 is between 0.01 and 0.5 N/cm.

    • An air belt having mesh webbing sufficiently strong and sufficiently expandable in the circumferential direction of a bag-shaped belt and an air belt apparatus including the air belt are provided. An air belt includes a folded member being a bag-shaped belt folded in a band shape and mesh webbing covering the folded member of the bag-shaped belt. The mesh webbing hardly expands in the longitudinal direction of the air belt, and is flexibly expandable in the circumferential direction of the bag-shaped belt. The mesh webbing is made of a raschel-knitted material. The knitted material is arranged such that the extending direction of knot portions of yarn threads and corresponds to the longitudinal direction of the air belt.

    • An object of the present invention is to provide a light-transmitting sheet material capable of transmitting sufficient amount of light and providing high blinding effect. A sheet material (1) includes a front fabric (2), a back fabric (3), and light-shielding layers (4), and is shaped such that the front fabric (2) and the back fabric (3) are held with a predetermined distance therebetween by fixing entire constituent yarns by resin treatment. The front fabric (2) and the back fabric (3) are formed into a planar shape by arranging stitch rows of chain stitches, knitted in a warp direction, in a weft direction at a predetermined interval and by knitting an insertion yarn alternately in adjoining stitch rows by a predetermined length. The light-shielding layers (4) are formed into sheet-like structures in the warp direction by knitting a connecting yarn alternately between the stitch rows of the front fabric (2) and the back fabric (3), and the plurality of light-shielding layers (4) are arranged in parallel in the weft direction.
