The caddy includes a handle with a first end pivotally attached to the upper strap, and a second end configured to detachably connect to the neck. In a first position, the handle is pivoted to allow the second end to be attached to the neck, thereby requiring the removal of a regulator, allowing the storage compartment to hold a regulator, protecting the neck from dust and other particulates and allowing a user to safely carry the cylinder. In a second position, the handle is pivoted to allow the second end form a strut, thereby providing the user a more stable operating position.

摘要： An apparatus for locking the head of a hand tool to the handle of the tool. The apparatus generally includes a tapered handle with one or more groove cut into the handle at the tool end of the handle. The grooves are then filled with a compressible material. The head of the tool (such as a pick axe, a hammer, an axe, etc.) is then placed over handle and moved over the grooves to the end. The compressible material will lock the head into place, fixing a longstanding problem with hand tools of the heads coming loose.

摘要： A cutting device includes a cutting blade formed of metal and having a forwardly disposed toothed portion and a rearwardly disposed tapered shank portion being tapered in shape and having outwardly extending projections, and a handle portion formed of plastic and provided with a slot defined therein for accommodating the tapered shank portion of the cutting blade. The slot is formed such that as the shank portion is pressed into the slot, the projections displace a portion of the plastic material forming the handle portion to fixedly secured the cutting blade within the handle portion. The cutting blade may be formed with a hole disposed at a predetermined distance from a rearward end portion of the shank portion to facilitate assembly and inspection purposes. A method for assembling the cutting device includes inserting a fixing element into the hole formed in the cutting blade to hold the cutting blade fixed, and pressing the cutting blade into the slot in the handle portion to a predetermined depth such that a rearward-most tooth of the toothed portion of the cutting blade is at least partially in an enlarged opening of the slot.

摘要： A threaded connector is disclosed for attaching a handle to a tool head, such as a rake or a broom. The threaded connector may include a central cap or plug and a plurality of opposed wings extending radially outwardly therefrom. The wings are in the form of hollow partial cylinders and are hingeably attached to the cap. The cap is positioned on the end of the handle and the wings are folded downwardly and inwardly to engage the handle. Each wing includes partial thread segments that register to form a full thread when the wings are folded together. The full thread has a shallow taper such that tightening of the connector within a mating socket in a tool head causes the connector to bind or wedge itself into the socket. To provide additional resistance to loosening a locking ring has longitudinal mortices which key into aligned rabbets in the connector and in the socket.
