摘要： A unique human or synthetic fiber hair extension and method are disclosed. One embodiment of the human or synthetic fiber hair extensions come packaged with double sided tape attached to both sides of the hair extension, with the weft and human or synthetic fiber hair attached between the two pieces of tape. The double sided tape is covered with a tape cover or liner on both sides of the extensions. First, the human or synthetic fiber hair extension is positioned for correct placement below the horizontal part line, the liner is removed form the bottom side of the hair extension and the human or synthetic fiber hair extension is secured by pressing into place. The second piece of double sided tape which is attached to the second side of the human or synthetic fiber hair extension and facing up has the liner removed and is then covered with a layer of the users's natural hair, which taken from the clipped area above the part. This creates a sandwich-like effect attachment of the human or synthetic fiber hair with the user's hair. Also shown is a flow chart and various application methods aiding the stylist in analyzing and applying extensions to the users head.

摘要： The present invention is a hair piece assembly that includes a plurality of individual hair strands having one end of each of the hair strands within an assembly sandwiched between a connector base and securing cover whereby the hair piece assembly is configured for connection directly to the scalp of an individual. The connector base of the hair piece assembly may be configured in multiple embodiments, at least as connection strips or a cap. In embodiments where the connector base is configured as a connector base strip, the hair piece assembly is comprised of a connector base strip and a securing cover strip. The connector base strip is comprised of a bonding agent having a low melting temperature and the securing cover strip is comprised of a non-dissolving translucent material. Individual hair strands shall be sandwiched between the exterior surface of the connection base strip and the interior surface of the securing cover strip. Upon the application of heat, the connection base strip dissolves and temporarily connects hair strands to the scalp of an individual. The securing cover strip protects the connection of the individual hair strand to the connection base strip, which is connected to the scalp of the individual.

At the base thereof, the rib can have approximately the thickness of the platelet, and towards the free end thereof, the rib can be tapered. The height of the rib corresponds preferably to at most the longitudinal extent of the platelet extended in the strand direction.

The elongate section may include a channel and the attachment means may be an elastic bungee or braid which is mounted in the channel and intended to be stretched and wrapped around the hair feature. The ends of the bungee or braid include hooks for attaching to one another or another part of the hairpiece.
