摘要： The invention relates to methods and systems for keyhole-free fusion cutting of a workpiece, wherein the workpiece is melted by a laser beam along a cutting joint and the molten mass produced is expelled from the produced cutting joint, e.g., by a gas jet at high pressure. According to the new methods at least one laser beam follows the laser beam in the cutting direction and influences the molten mass in such a manner that at least one of the two cutting flanks of the workpiece has a better cutting quality than when cutting without the trailing laser beam.

摘要： A sheet metal component bent from a sheet metal blank having a triangular corner comprises a first and a second sheet metal member bent along bending lines from a base member to form two edges of the triangular corner. Two outer edges are weldable to each other to form a third edge. A recess extends into the base member, formed by a curved and/or polygonal first and second edge which protrudes towards the first edge. The second edge extends with a projection beyond a straight line defined by the bending line of the first sheet metal member. A projection tip is spaced from the first edge at least by a thickness of the sheet metal. When the sheet metal members are bent the projection is surrounded by the first edge and the recess is at least substantially closed by the projection.

The apparatus includes a separating device that is movable, during the separation process, in a first axial direction that is transverse to a second axial direction that the plate-like material is conveyed in during the separation process. The apparatus also includes first and second transport tables. The first transport table has a first contact surface and the second transport table has a second contact surface. The first contact surface and the second contact surface are spaced apart by a gap along which the separating device is movable. The apparatus also includes at least one holding device that is operable hold the plate-like material relative to the first and second contact surfaces such that the plate-like material is movable along the first and second contact surfaces. The holding device is configured to support the plate-like material such that a first surface of the plate-like material, on which a cutting beam of the separating device impinges, faces toward the first and second contact surfaces during the separation process.

The first and second tool portions are arranged along an application axis in spaced relation to each other such that a plate workpiece can be disposed therebetween.
