    • A tensioner for an endless transmitting member is provided to reliably prevent the loosening of an endless chain, while preventing the occurrence of an incorrect meshing of the endless chain with sprockets. A plunger holder is biased in an advancing direction by the action of a first spring supported in a housing, and a plunger, carried in the plunger holder, is biased in an advancing direction by the action of a second spring having a spring constant larger than that of the first spring. Only the movement of the plunger holder in the advancing direction is permitted by a ratchet mechanism mounted between the plunger holder and the housing. During operation of the engine, the advancing movement of the plunger holder is inhibited by the hydraulic pressure transmitted to a hydraulic pressure chamber, and the plunger is advanced and retracted in accordance with a variation in tension of the endless chain. When the engine is stopped, the ratchet mechanism is operated in accordance with the elongation of the endless chain due to wearing to advance the plunger holder one pitch at a time along with the plunger.

    • An auto tuning/storing receiver includes a PLL frequency synthesizer for scanning of frequency. The receiver is provided with means storing field intensity signals characteristic of the intensities of broadcasts at the same time as tuning signals characteristics of tuning frequencies are stored. Once the storing means has been full of the tuning signals during the scanning of frequencies, comparison is effected in field intensity between a new broadcast and all of the already stored broadcasts whenever the field intensity of the new one exceeds the reference or the storing criterion. Should the field intensity of the new one be higher than the lowest field intensity of one of the already stored broadcasts, the new broadcast (both its related tuning signal and field intensity signal) replaces the most feeble of the previous broadcasts automatically. An alternative way is to remove the tuning signal and field intensity signal concerning the latter broadcast (most feeble) and access and shift on one-by-one basis for storage of the information which follows regarding the next succeeding or remaining broadcasts when the former (new) broadcast is higher in field intensity than the latter broadcast.

    • Disclosed is a wire array rubber connector (10), including: an electrical insulating rubber (2); and a plurality of conductive metal wires (1) that are arrayed in a thickness direction of the electrical insulating rubber so as to pass through front and back surfaces of the electrical insulating rubber, and localized so as to be electrically connectable to electrical terminals that are disposed at predetermined positions on the front and back surfaces of the electrical insulating rubber. The electrical insulating rubber (2) is a flame-resistant rubber achieving V-0 based on the UL-94 standard. This wire array rubber connector (10) is obtained by: mixing a plurality of conductive metal wires having a predetermined length into a liquid thermosetting electrical insulating rubber material; applying a magnetic field from a thickness direction of the rubber material using an electromagnet that is patterned in a predetermined pattern so that the conductive metal wires are arrayed in the thickness direction and localized; and curing the rubber material by heating, thereby providing the wire array rubber connector with high flame resistance and with low transmission loss in a high frequency region.

    • A chain tensioner device includes a main arm, tensioner lifter, and a sub-arm. The main arm is pivotally supported by a first shaft. The main arm slidably contacts an endless chain to apply a tension to the endless chain. The tensioner lifter includes a housing, a plunger, and a spring. The plunger is slidably held by the housing. The spring is to press the plunger such that the plunger projects from the housing. The sub-arm is disposed between the main arm and the tensioner lifter. The sub-arm is pivotally supported by a second shaft to transmit a biasing force applied by the plunger of the tensioner lifter to the main arm. A moving direction of the plunger is substantially orthogonal to a direction of a tangent at a contact portion between the plunger and the sub-arm when an elongation of the endless chain reaches a maximum elongation.

    • A fixing structure of an indoor lamp includes a lamp unit and an interior wall member.
