    • An image forming apparatus for forming an image on a recording material by an image recording portion, the image forming apparatus includes a sheet feeder for stacking a plurality of recording materials; a sheet feeding roller for contacting the recording material at a first position to feed the recording material from the sheet feeder toward the image recording portion and for contacting the recording material at a second position different form the first position to discharge the recording material; separating means for contacting the sheet feeding roller at the first position to separate the recording material; a pair of rollers, disposed between the sheet feeding roller and the image recording portion, for feeding the recording material to the image recording portion and for discharging the recording material which has been subjected to a recording operation of the image recording portion from the image recording portion; and changing means for changing a discharging direction of the recording material toward the second position of the sheet feeding roller.

    • In an amplifier device, a negative output voltage (−) of a differential amplifier stage corresponding to an input signal voltage (Vin) is supplied to the gate of Output transistor M25 for charging electrical charges to Capacitive load (80). A current corresponding to a positive output voltage (+) of the differential amplifier stage is supplied to Node (A) through which the gate of Output transistor M26 for discharging electrical charges from Capacitive load (80) is connected to Constant current source (4). This current becomes a value (Iy+&Dgr;I) according to the voltage (Vin). By changing the gate voltage of Output transistor M26, it enters ON, and the electrical charges are discharged as a current I3 from Capacitive load (80). The voltage (Vin) is converted to a current by Voltage-current converter (1), and Current-voltage converter (2) then converts this current to a voltage. It is thereby possible to increase the driving ability of Output transistor M26 and to perform a response operation at high speed with low power consumption only by changing the current corresponding to the positive output voltage (+) of the differential pair.

    • An inverted-F antenna is provide, which is capable of coping with the change of available frequency bands while keeping its compactness. This antenna is comprised of a radiating element for radiating or receiving an RF signal, a ground conductor arranged to be opposite to the radiating element with a specific gap, a feeding terminal electrically connected to the radiating element, a first grounding terminal electrically connected to the radiating element, at least one impedance element provided in a line connecting the first grounding terminal to the ground conductor, and a first switch for selectively inserting the at least one impedance element into the line. A resonant frequency of the antenna is changed by operating the first switch. As the at least one impedance element, an inductance or capacitance element is used. Preferably, a second grounding terminal electrically connected to the radiating element through a second switch is further provided.
