The polyacrylate resins are prepared by copolymerizing optionally functional polybutadienes, aromatic monomers, hydroxyalkyl esters of acrylic or methacrylic acid having primary hydroxyl groups, aliphatic esters of acrylic or methacrylic acid and C1 to C8 monoalcohols, α,β-unsaturated C3–C7 monocarboxylic or dicarboxylic acids or of one or more monoesters of maleic acid or fumaric acid and C1 to C14 monoalchols.

The present invention also relates to a process for preparing these polyisocyanates and to binder compositions containing these polyisocyanates, which may be hydrophilically modified, and a compound having NCO-reactive groups.
