A longitudinal axis of the pin encloses an acute angle with the rotational axis of the brake application shaft. The invention also relates to an adjusting device for a disk brake, in particular for utility vehicles, having an adjusting element in the form of an adjusting nut or an adjusting screw, and having a slipping clutch for limiting the torque which can be transmitted to the adjusting element. The slipping clutch has a friction element which is rotationally coupled to the adjusting element in both rotational directions.

摘要： A pneumatic disc brake has a caliper which straddles a brake disc, brake pads pressable against the brake disc, wherein a brake-application-side brake pad can be actuated by a brake lever of a brake application device pivotable about an eccentric axis. Against the end side, the brake lever bears a brake ram which is coupled at the other side to the brake pad or to a guide plate coupled thereto. Two pressure rams are aligned in the same direction and spaced apart from the brake ram. The pressure rams are connected in each case to the caliper and to the brake pad or to the guide plate and have a self-energizing device. The caliper has spherical-cap-shaped bearing receptacles in which rest corresponding plain bearing elements, by which the brake lever, and the pressure rams are supported on the caliper.

To keep the mutual movability of the parts involved low by the simplest measures possible and without the need for additional parts, the supporting roller (20) is supported with the lateral surface (20A) thereof directly in one of the two shells (21, 22) and is designed to be non-rotatable or have only limited rotational movement with respect to this shell. The supporting roller (20) also serves as a means to centre the brake lever (10) laterally in the brake caliper. A supporting roller particularly suited to these purposes is also to be created.

The translatable drive connection is configured to allow a transfer of torque between the first and second shafts, and enables movement of the second shaft, relative to the first shaft, along its axis of rotation from an extended position to a retracted position, such that an input portion of the second shaft can be at least partially retracted in a retraction direction towards the rotor upon activation of the actuation mechanism. A disconnect mechanism disposed on the second shaft can therefore be disconnected upon retraction of the second shaft.

At least one idler gear may be drivingly engaged by the input gear. An output gear may be drivingly engaged by the input gear through the idler gear(s). The output gear may be disposed in offset or spaced-apart relationship to the input gear. A spindle may be drivingly engaged by the output gear. The spindle may be configured to drivingly engage the wheel of the vehicle. A wet brake system may be provided in the housing interior of the portal box housing. The wet brake system may be deployable between a brake release configuration and a braking configuration applying a braking force to the spindle. Wet brake systems for mounting a wheel of a vehicle having a drive axle are also disclosed.
