摘要： A method of making an extruded food product from plastic food material by forcing the food material into the depression of a roll that is positioned within an extruder head of an extrusion device and is juxtaposed in closely spaced-apart relationship to an elongated aperture in an extrusion die with the axis of the roll substantially parallel to the long axis of the aperture, the roll having at least one depression in the surface thereof, at least one edge of which is a generally axially oriented leading edge and forms an abrupt ridge with respect to the surface of the roll, the depth of the depression with respect to the circumference of the roll being greater at each point along the leading edge than at the circumferentially corresponding point on the opposite trailing edge of the depression; and rotating the roll in a predetermined direction such that as the depression moves past the aperture, the leading edge passes the aperture before the trailing edge, thereby extruding the food material through the aperture to form an extruded food product having uniform dimension and configuration.

摘要： A method and apparatus for coating thixotropic high viscosity liquid coating compositions on a moving web at a narrow coating in such a manner as to provide a flat coating surface. The apparatus is provided with at least two liquid discharge ports arranged side by side opposite to the moving web so that the liquids are discharged through the ports and the edge of the coating liquid streams meet on the web. The apparatus is further provided with an extrusion type hopper having two slide members of which the tip ends are in the form of a knife edge, the slide members being arranged so that the knife edges are directed inwardly toward each other, at least one partition plate interposed between the slide members so as to equally divide the distance between the internal surfaces of the slide members. The method of this invention is well suited for use in applying a magnetic recording stripe to a motion picture film.

摘要： Method and apparatus for coating a fabric with elastomeric stock, wherein improved impregnation of the interstices of the fabric is achieved, the method comprising concomitantly feeding both elastomeric stock and a fabric in pressurized contact with one another between mutually confronting stationary and movable surfaces. The mutually confronting surfaces converge toward one another and cooperatively define a pressure chamber terminating in a restriction orifice. The movable surface is driven in a direction of feed of both the stock and fabric to frictionally carry and wedge both into and through the pressure chamber, thereby causing the interstices of the fabric to be increasingly impregnated by the stock.

摘要： An on-line automatic cleaning apparatus of slit extrusion type coating die for lithium battery and a method associated therewith are provided. The cleaning apparatus includes: a die lip, a coating steel roller, and a cleaning mechanism disposed therebetween. The cleaning mechanism includes a cleaning chamber which includes elongated sealing strips and a flow-guiding arc groove. Front and rear ends of the cleaning chamber are connected to an inlet sealing plate and an outlet sealing plate respectively. The flow-guiding arc groove is in contact with and presses upper and lower sloped surfaces of the die lip through the elongated sealing strips to seal and thereby define a closed cleaning tunnel. The inlet and outlet sealing plates are in contact with and press two ends of the closed cleaning tunnel respectively for circumferential sealing. An inlet and an outlet are connected to pipes having solenoid valves installed thereon.

摘要： An extrusion die has first and second die bodies that define an extrusion cavity therebetween. The extrusion cavity has an inlet, a primary manifold that extends from the inlet along a flow direction, and an outlet that defines an elongate slot. In some examples, cavity has an intermediate chamber that extends from the primary manifold along the flow direction, the intermediate chamber having a back line and a front line that taper away from one another as they extend outwards towards opposing ends of the die. The primary manifold has a front end portion that is defined between opposing inner surfaces, at least one of inner surface tapering towards the other as it extends along the flow direction. In some examples, the inner surface has first and second curved portions that curve to provide a smoother transition from the primary manifold to a downstream chamber of the extrusion cavity.
