摘要： A method for preparation of a mold (10) intended to form a slab from a mixture of agglomerate comprising the steps of depositing over the mold surfaces a sheet (15) of PVA-based plastic material so as to form with it a surface for subsequent contact with the mixture introduced into the mold for forming the slab, whereby in at least some areas a layer (14) of a fluid agent containing PVA in a solution is interposed between the sheet (15) and the mold surfaces. A plant for carrying out the method and a method for production of a slab are also described.

摘要： Disclosed are biaxially oriented, multilayered films, wherein said films may include a core layer comprising linear, low-density polyethylene, and the core layer is optionally cavitated. Said films may further include a first skin layer on a first side of the core layer, and a second skin layer on a second side of the core layer, wherein the first skin layer and the second skin layer comprise thin layers of linear, low-density polyethylene of a same or different type. Further, said films may include an aqueous-based primer on an outer surface of the second skin layer, wherein the outer surface faces away from the core layer. Further still, said films may include a sealant coating layer on the first skin layer and a barrier coating layer on the second skin layer, wherein the sealant coating layer and the barrier coating layer are aqueous-based.

The linear low density polyethylene composition suitable for cast film according to the present invention comprises an ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer composition having a Comonomer Distribution Constant (CDC) in the range of from 40 to 200, for example from 40 to 150, a vinyl unsaturation of less than 0.12 vinyls per one thousand carbon atoms present in the backbone of the ethylene-based polymer composition; a zero shear viscosity ratio (ZSVR) in the range from 1.2 to 5, for example from 1.5 to 4; a density in the range of from 0.910 to 0.935, for example from 0.915 to 0.925, g/cm3, a melt index (I2) in a range of from 1 to 10, for example from 2 to 6 g/10 minutes, a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) in the range of from 2 to 3.5.

摘要： Poly(ethylene tetrafluoroethylene) (ETFE) polymers having an average molecular weight of at least 300,000 g/mol and a melt enthalpy of at least 57 J/g are provided. The ETFE polymer may include at least one additional comonomer. The ETFE polymer is used to form a porous tape or membrane that has a node and fibril structure. A porous ETFE tape may be formed by lubricating the ETFE polymer and subjecting the lubricated polymer to pressure at a temperature below the melting point of the ETFE polymer. Optionally, the ETFE tape may be expanded at a temperature below the melting temperature of the ETFE polymer to form an expanded ETFE membrane. Alternatively, the ETFE polymer may subjected to heat and pressure without the addition of a lubricant to form a dense preform. The dense preform may be subsequently slit in a length direction and stretched to form a dense ETFE fiber.
