摘要： An identification tag includes a frame with a closed surface on a side and a peripheral flange is connected to the closed surface. A groove is defined between the closed surface and the peripheral flange. Two ventilation holes are defined through a first end of the peripheral flange and communicate with the grove. Two lugs respectively extend from an end of the closed surface and a second end of the peripheral flange. A slot is defined between the two lugs and the slot communicates with the groove so that a name card is engaged with the groove via the slot. Each of the two lugs has a hole so that a strip extends through the holes. Moisture or vapor escapes from the ventilation holes.

摘要： A luggage tag attachable to the handle of a piece is of the type comprising a face stock and a release liner with a longitudinal fold line scored into the tag and extending from one end of the tag to terminate at a point between the first and second ends of the tag, the tag being foldable about the fold line. A detachable ticket or receipt is integrally formed in the center of the tag extending from the root of the fold line to the second end of the tag, and tongues are formed in the tag on each side of the detachable ticket. Reinforcing tear-resistant strips, such as Mylar.RTM. tape strips, are provided on the back of the face stock extending at least the lengths of the tongues, and preferably the entire length of the face stock. The back of the face stock has adhesive over the entire area thereof, but a pattern of varnish desensitizer is provided along a portion of each of the tongues, so that adhesive is not transferred to a luggage handle when it is disposed between the tongues. The face stock and release liner both have curved edges, with the radius of curvature of the release liner edges being greater than that of the face stock edges. Paper ties are provided between the tongue and the ticket so as to prevent premature, undesired detachment of the ticket from the tongues and root, each paper tie having a length of about 0.025 inches.

The hollow plastic body portion has a central opening covered by a removable monogrammed cap. The cap covers a key shaped recess designed to hold a suitcase key. A resilient plastic circular loop clip is connected to the body portion for attaching the luggage tag to an article of luggage. In a second embodiment, the body portion is formed from open mesh plastic through which yarn is woven. The body portions may be formed as a variety of shapes including a teddy bear, a flower, a human foot, and any letter of the alphabet.

摘要： A thermally imprintable baggage tag assembly formed of a laminate comprising highly calendered, dense bond paper sheet, an inexpensive paper sheet and reinforcing fibers sandwiched therebetween and running in the longitudinal direction only. A thermally imprintable layer is disposed on the bond paper side of the laminate and a liner is adhesively secured to the other side. The laminate and liner are scored in longitudinally spaced locations and are provided with bands of release material so that when tag and claim check portions are severed along the score lines, the tag and claim check portions will each have exposed zones of adhesive for securance to other objects or zones as desired.

摘要： A luggage tag comprised of a unitary plastic member, including a strap for fastening the tag to the luggage. A case, having channelled internal sidewalls is attached to one end of the strap and is adapted to receive an identification label. A plate is attached to the other end of the strap and is adapted for sliding in the sidewall channels to effect closure of the case and the confinement of the label therein. The case is further provided with an aperture in the section of the case attached to the strap. When closing the case, the plate is passed through the aperture and gains entry to the sidewall channels by way of grooves formed in the surfaces of the sidewalls whereby the strap attached to the plate is bent to form a loop for fastening the tag to a piece of luggage.
