摘要： A receipt and label roll comprises a core and a web having a longitudinally-extending axis and wound on the core along the axis. The web includes (i) a substrate having a front side and a back side opposite the front side, (ii) a thermally-sensitive coating disposed on the front side of the substrate, (iii) adhesive disposed on a portion of the back side of the substrate along the web axis, and (iv) a release coating disposed on the front side of the substrate along the web axis to prevent the adhesive from sticking to the front side of the substrate when the web is wound on the core. The web further includes (v) a longitudinal weakened structure extending along a direction parallel to the web axis and dividing the web into a first web portion on which the adhesive is disposed and a second web portion which is substantially devoid of adhesive.

An example apparatus includes a first substrate, a first pattern of adhesive, a tamper-evident release layer, a second pattern of adhesive, a tag, a third pattern of adhesive, and a second substrate. The first pattern of adhesive includes a first adhesive. The first pattern of adhesive and the tamper-evident release layer are disposed on the first substrate. The second and third patterns of adhesive include a second adhesive. The second pattern of adhesive is disposed on the first substrate and surrounded by the first pattern of adhesive. The tag includes a remaining portion coupled to the first pattern of adhesive and a removable portion coupled to the second pattern of adhesive. The third pattern of adhesive is coupled to the tag, the first pattern of adhesive, and the second substrate.

In one embodiment, the label comprises two substrates, each substrate being coated on an outer face with a thermally sensitive coating. The inner faces of the substrates are respectively coated with an adhesive and a release material. A configuration of die cuts and perforations on the two substrates is provided to allow the label to adhere to a surface such as a package and to form a sealable pouch with respect to said surface.
