    • Apparatus 10 has breachable flow conduit 12 for discharging stored fluid 12F contained in storage chamber 10C out to the ambient. Chamber access region 10R is positioned proximate perimeter 10P of the apparatus. The breachable flow conduit is within the access region, and has an inner end 12C proximate the storage chamber and an outer end 12P proximate the perimeter of the apparatus. The flow conduit has outer pressed seal 14P between the outer end of the flow conduit and the perimeter of the apparatus. The flow conduit also has inner pressed seal 14C between the inner end of the flow conduit and the edge of the storage chamber. The flow conduit expands towards the perimeter of the apparatus under external pressure, typically applied by the consumer. The pressure causes the flow conduit to breach at the perimeter of the apparatus. The flow conduit also expands towards the storage chamber. The pressure causes the flow conduit to breach at the edge of the storage chamber. Breached flow conduit 13B establishes fluid communication between the storage chamber and the ambient for discharge of the stored fluid.

    • Disclosed is a container capable of dispensing a liquid contained in the container by drops while keeping the liquid in an uncontaminated state. Also disclosed is a method of dispensing a liquid by drops using the container, and a method of removing a stoma pouch flange using the container. The liquid storing container comprises a storage portion with a sealed periphery and a nozzle portion connected with the storage portion for dispensing a liquid contained in the storage portion by drops to the outside. The container has an enclosed inner space. Liquid is dispensed by drops by peeling apart a sealed nozzle tip portion that is oriented toward the tip of the nozzle portion to form a drop dispensing opening.

    • The present invention describes vacuum skin packages comprising a thermoplastic film and a polyester substrate wherein the thermoplastic film includes at least a first polymer layer having a first surface and an opposing second surface and comprises an ethylene/unsaturated ester copolymer, wherein the first surface has been surface treated in a manner to exhibit a surface tension of between 36-60 dynes/cm. The thermoplastic film is adapted to form a peelable seal between the first surface of the first polymer layer of the thermoplastic film and the polyester substrate by a pressure of less than 1×105 Pa applied therebetween, wherein the peelable seal has a seal strength of between 0.5-6 lb./in. (0.09-1.08 kg/cm).
