摘要： The present invention relates to a printing face layer for printing blankets which is the product of vulcanization of nitrile rubber with between 38% to about 45% by weight acrylonitrile; a particulate filler at between about 5 pph to about 50 pph; a coupling agent at a quantity of between about 0.5 to about 6 pph; at least one wettability modifier in an amount sufficient to increase the hydrophilicity of the printing face layer; a factice at about 5 to about 40 pph; sulfur at about 0.5 to about 3 pph; a primary accelerator at about 0.1 to about 4 pph; and zinc oxide at between about 2.5 to about 30 pph. Advantageously the printing face formulation also contains phenol formaldehyde resins, stabilizers such as antioxidants, UV protectors, antiozonants, and the like, and also includes resins and fatty acids.

摘要： A laminated printing blanket having compressible and resilient properties and a method for its production are provided. The compressible characteristics are provided by disposing an intermediate layer having substantially uniformly distributed voids of substantially uniform size between the base ply and the working surface of the printing blanket. The voids of the compressible intermediate layer are formed by introducing high melting point microspheres formed from thermoplastic resins into an elastomeric matrix, coating said microsphere containing elastomeric matrix upon an upper surface of the base ply and then vulcanizing the coated base ply at a temperature of between about 80-150.degree. C. for between about one and six hours to form the compressible layer having substantially uniform compression characteristics. Once all of the layers of the blanket are stacked, a final vulcanization treatment at between about 132-160.degree. C. for between about 30 minutes to sixteen hours at a pressure between about atmospheric and 6 kg/cm.sup.2 in a known manner completes the curing of all the layers to produce a laminated printing blanket.

摘要： The printing offset blanket in accordance with the present invention has a surface printing layer made of a mixture of silicone rubber and oil-resisting rubber. It is therefore possible to prepare ink layers having a uniform thickness and clear edges. Further, the present offset blanket can be improved in paper discharging properties and retention of paper powder, enabling the blanket to be suitably applied to high-speed printing, filter or display prints, or the like. The printing rubber roll of the present invention is made of a mixture of silicone rubber and oil-resisting rubber. Accordingly, the present rubber roll is excellent in stability with respect to ultraviolet-curing ink and can therefore be used for a long period of time.

These blankets have improved resistance to fall-off at the gap and also have improved resistance to surface piping subsequent to reverse rolling of the blanket. The instant printing blanket comprises a carcass layer, a compressible layer overlaying the carcass layer, a stabilizing layer overlaying the compressible layer and an ink transfer layer upon the compressible layer, wherein the stabilizing layer is formed of a fabric having a plurality of continuous filament synthetic warp yarns, preferably nylon or polyester, following a sinusoidal path over and under the weft yarns.
