摘要： Provided is a composite molded article which can increase resistance to peeling at an interface and suppress excessive peeling of a fiber-reinforced polymer material portion even when thermal shock is repeatedly applied. The composite molded article comprises a metal member using metal as a base material and having a surface; and a fiber-reinforced polymer material portion coated on at least part of the surface of the metal member and having a polymer material as a matrix and a plurality of reinforcing fibers for reinforcing the matrix. The surface of the metal member has a plurality of projections juxtaposed regularly or randomly at a pitch distance greater than diameters of the reinforcing fibers. The respective facing projections form enterable spaces which part of the matrix enters and at least part of the reinforcing fibers can enter.

摘要： A three-coat one-bake type coating process for forming a multilayer coating film which attains high efficiency and brings about an excellent finished appearance. A three-coat one-bake type coating process includes applying an intermediate coating material, applying a finish base coating material, applying a clear topcoating material, and drying, wherein a two-package type coating material containing an isocyanate compound as the crosslinking agent is used as the intermediate coating material, whereby the surface fluidity of the intermediate coating is improved to make the coating surface smooth and the mixing of the intermediate coating with an upper layer and/or the volume shrinkage of the intermediate coating due to the component eliminated by curing are inhibited to give coated members having an excellent finished appearance.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device of the present invention includes: a first substrate and a second substrate; a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, and a vertical alignment layer provided on at least one of the first substrate and the second substrate on a side which is closer to the liquid crystal layer. The liquid crystal layer includes a plurality of liquid crystal regions partitioned by at least one partition wall provided on the first substrate on a side which is closer to the liquid crystal layer. The liquid crystal layer has a liquid crystal material with a negative dielectric anisotropy. Liquid crystal molecules in the plurality of liquid crystal regions are oriented in a direction substantially perpendicular to the first substrate and the second substrate in an absence of an applied voltage. The liquid crystal molecules in each of the liquid crystal regions are oriented in axial symmetry about an axis within the liquid crystal region which is substantially perpendicular to the first substrate and the second substrate in a presence of an applied voltage. The partition wall has a section which is inclined with respect to the surface of the first substrate.

摘要： A display apparatus is connected to a computer that constitutes an external device. In at least one example embodiment, the external device outputs an image to the display apparatus via a video output port. When a pointing device directs a laser beam towards an image display module of the display apparatus, the display apparatus detects the laser beam using an incorporated photosensor, and identifies the coordinates in the image corresponding to that photosensor. Then, the location information for the identified coordinates is output to the external device via a pointing device input port. The external device recognizes the coordinate location and outputs a cursor indicating the pointer location superimposed on the output image. The display apparatus displays an image containing the cursor on the display screen.
