    • A method for etching a barrier material on a semiconductor substrate is disclosed. The method includes placing the substrate in a plasma processing chamber of the plasma processing system, wherein the substrate includes the barrier material and a low-k material, and wherein the barrier material and a low-k material are configured to be exposed to a plasma. The method also includes flowing an etchant gas mixture, including CH3F from about 4% to about 8% of a plasma gas flow, into the plasma processing chamber, wherein the etchant gas mixture is configured to etch the barrier material at a first etch rate, the etchant gas mixture is configured to etch the low-k material at a second etch rate, wherein the first etch rate is substantially greater than the second etch rate. The method further includes striking a plasma from the etchant source gas; and etching the barrier layer and the low-k layer.

    • A system for an online auction for bidders wishing to purchase offered products over a wide area network such as the Internet. Using a graphic interface bidders are continuously provided views of offered products and services using a graphically actuated electronic means for input of buyers bids. Bidders are allowed to place bids for the product or service during a finite period of time known only to the seller whereby the last bidder to have input a bid, at the termination point for the time period wins. Optionally, winning bidders, and in certain instances, losing bidders, may re-list an item won and attempt to resell it at a potential profit.

    • Systems and methods generate user interfaces using a description of a business ontology and a pattern language describing a layout for business objects in the business ontology. The layout description is analyzed and code may be generated to produce the output layout according to the layout description. One aspect of the system and methods includes generating HTML code. A further aspect of the system and methods includes generating Java Swing code. A still further aspect of the systems and methods includes generating user interface code for a desktop application. The layout description may describe a layout in a manner that is display device independent, and that does not rely on absolute positioning of elements. Business object data and fields within a business object may be positioned relative to one another and may further be positioned based on the order in the layout description.
