    • A magnetically driven motor includes an output shaft, a magnetic conical plate, a stationary guide, and at least three electromagnets. The output shaft is supported to be rotatable about a predetermined central line. The magnetic conical plate has a vertex on the predetermined central line, is rotatable together with the output shaft about the predetermined central line, is swingably supported to be inclined with respect to the predetermined central line, and has a predetermined peripheral length. The stationary guide has the predetermined central line as an axis, has a vertex angle slightly smaller than a vertex angle of the conical plate, has an annular guide surface corresponding to part of a conical surface of the conical plate, and is adapted such that a peripheral portion of the conical plate is swingable along the guide surface. The guide surface of the stationary guide has a peripheral length larger than that of the conical plate. The electromagnets are equiangularly disposed about the predetermined central line so as to oppose the conical plate and adapted to be sequentially energized. The peripheral portion of the conical plate is swung along the guide surface by a magnetic attraction force acting on the conical plate upon sequential energization of the electromagnets.

    • A blur detecting device comprises a plurality of photo-electric converter elements which are arranged in different positions to receive light from an object and to convert quantities of light received into quantities of electricity. Electric charge storing elements are included which store the quantities of electricity obtained from the photo-electric converter elements. A computing circuit in the blur detecting device obtains the ratio of the quantities of electricity stored at the electric charge storing elements. An indicating circuit compares signals produced from the computing circuit at different lengths of light receiving time and indicates a blurred state of the light received from the object.

    • The active automatic focusing apparatus disclosed scans the object to be photographed with light from a light projector and includes a sensor sensing reflected light, a peak detector for detecting the peak value of the signal sensed by the sensor, a control producing a stop signal suitable for stopping focusing movement of the objective lens in accordance with the output of the peak detector, and a stop device for stopping the movement of the objective lens on the basis of the output of the control. A comparator compares the level of the detected signal with that of a preset noise signal so as to produce a first control signal when the level of the detected signal is higher than that of the noise signal. A given distance detector produces a second control signal when the objective lens is moved to a predetermined position corresponding to a distance at which a peak of the detected signal can be detected by the peak detector. An arrangement applies a second stop signal to the stop device to stop the movement of the objective lens when the first and the second stop signals are produced.

    • An ignition coil for internal combustion engine includes: a center core disposed on an inner side of a primary coil and a secondary coil and a side core disposed on an outer side of the primary and secondary coils whose one end face abuts on one end face of the center core and the other end face abuts on the other end face of the center core via a magnet. The side core is formed of a plurality of side core portions obtained by dividing laminated magnetic steel plates at different positions in a longitudinal direction thereof and has a superimposed portion in which the magnetic steel plates of the adjacent side core portions mutually superimpose between the different positions in the longitudinal direction. It thus becomes possible to provide an ignition coil for internal combustion engine capable of suppressing an increase of magnetic circuit resistance markedly without deteriorating assembly workability.
