摘要： A part painting method and apparatus in which dust, paint residue, and dripping excess paint are prevented from falling on a surface to be painted. A lens, as an example of a part to be painted, is covered with a mask body with a surface to be painted of the lens exposed through the mask body. The lens is positioned and fixed on the rear side of the mask body. The front side of the mask body, which functions as a masking surface with respect to spray paint from the paint gun, is arranged slanted downward with respect to vertical such that painting is performed with the mask body slanted at a predetermined angle so that excess paint dripping from the mask body does not drip onto the lens.

Each of the plurality of unit delay circuit is provided with an inverter and a transistor having a current control electrode connected to an output terminal of the inverter. The variable delay circuit is also provided with a selection control circuit which selects a signal applied to said another electrode of each of a plurality of the transistors.

摘要： A metal strip is continuously cast through a gap of a pair of internally cooled rolls rotating in the opposite direction to each other having a pair of side dams disposed on both sides of the rolls and a pair of longitudinal dams disposed with their bottom surfaces held slightly above the roll surfaces so that openings are formed between the bottom surfaces of the longitudinal dams and the roll surfaces and that during steady state operation of the apparatus the openings are positioned at a level of the surface of molten metal in the pool. The longitudinal dams are capable of preventing formation of triple point solidified shells and make it possible that the surface of molten metal may come in contact with the surfaces of the rolls while forming the transversely uniform contacting edges, and therefore, the apparatus produces metal strips having enhanced surface quality which are substantially free from molten metal wrinkles. The advantages are further promoted by using a pouring device having a slit-shaped nozzle.

摘要： A graphic is prepared by providing the starting points or end points of straight lines and circular arcs with identifiable marks such as black circles. Reading the graphic by an image reader (2h). A display controller of a display unit (2d) displays each of the graphic elements and black circles on a display screen as well as inquiries calling for the coordinates of the positions at which the black circles are provided and the nature of the graphic elements between black circles. The black circles relating to inquiries are made distinguishable from other black circles by being displayed in e.g. blinking fashion. Thereafter, the coordinates of a black circle which is made to blink and the nature of a graphic element (i.e. whether the element is a straight line or circular arc) are inputted from a keyboard (2f) in response to the inquiries, whereupon the next black circle blinks and the relevant inquiry is displayed. Data are thereafter inputted in similar fashion until all of the graphic data are finally inputted.

According to this process, oxidation dephosphorization of chromium-containing pig iron is effectively and economically achieved. Simultaneously desulfurization and denitrification thereof are effected, too.
