摘要： The supercritical refrigerating apparatus has refrigerant bypass means for bypassing a heat exchanger according to a physical value of the refrigerant. Therefore, the temperature of refrigerant on a suction side of the compressor becomes lower than that of refrigerant sucked into the compressor via the heat exchanger. As a result, the refrigerant temperature in a refrigerant passage extending from a suction side to a discharge side of the compressor is decreased, thereby preventing breakage of the compressor.

摘要： According to the present invention, when leakage of refrigerant is detected during operation of an air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle, air outlets for a passenger and a solenoid valve for an air passage are closed. Accordingly, a compressor is stopped after a predetermined time has elapsed since the solenoid valve is closed. In this way, refrigerant within an evaporator is sucked and discharged. Consequently, an amount of refrigerant leaking from an air conditioner casing due to damage of the evaporator can be reduced.

The adjusting mechanism can be provided to adjust a flow ratio of a refrigerant amount decompressed by the nozzle portion of the ejector and a refrigerant amount drawn into the refrigerant suction port of the ejector.

Furthermore, the driving portion causes the shutting portion to shut the reverse flow of the refrigerant when the refrigerant cycle is damaged.

摘要： A hot water supply system wherein a flow of a refrigerant on a high-pressure side of a supercritical heat pump cycle and a flow of hot water are oppositely directed, and wherein water heated by the refrigerant on the high-pressure side is stored in heat insulating tanks of a vacuous and double structure. Water is heated with heat absorbed from the atmosphere and by the supercritical heat pump cycle having a high heat exchange efficiency &eegr;, to reduce the power required to heat the water. Therefore, hot water can be generated even in the daytime during peak power rates. Accordingly, because it is unnecessary to store hot water for daytime use in insulated tanks, system space requirements are reduced.

摘要： In an accumulator cycle, lubricating oil containing polyalkylene glycol (PAG) as a main component is used for a hermetic electric compressor. Lubricating oil mixed with refrigerant (carbon dioxide) can exhibit electric insulation resistance that causes no problems on a practical use. Since PAG has low compatibility with respect to carbon dioxide, a large amount of liquid phase refrigerant is difficult to be sucked into the compressor while being dissolved in lubricating oil. Therefore, the efficiency of the compressor is not lessened.
