An inflatable boat adapted to serve as a training aid in learning the use of a towable personal hydrofoil watersport device adapted to carry a seated rider, said inflatable boat comprising: (a) elongated spaced apart inflatable pontoon sections connected in proximity to their lower extremities by (b) a carrying surface including an upper surface, a leading edge and a trailing edge, said pontoon sections and said leading edge of said carrying surface forming a generally smooth leading fairing surface for being towed through water with minimum drag, said carrying surface being provided with an opening in proximity to its trailing edge, said opening being adapted to retain a vertical strut extending downwardly below said carrying surface, said carrying surface further having, in proximity to said opening, means associated therewith to carry a seat on said upper surface.

摘要： A geographical position/image capturing system stores object images and position coordinates as digital data. The system incorporates a geo-addressed map data base and geo-positioning device for relating the position of the system at the time the image is captured to the captured digital image data and the geo-addressed map. A point-of-interest feature data base is linked to the image data and the position data, by hyper-media links. Digital multi-media entities such as graphics, video clips, audio streams and the like can be digitally stored and retrieved based on hyper-media links coupling the entities to the object images, the map position and feature data base. A playback unit incorporating an image viewer communicates with the stored digital digital image data, the multi-media entities, the map data base, and the feature data base and allows modified images of selected portions of the images and other data to be viewed by a user. An audio reproduction device may be included to reproduce the audio media entities when they are selected by the appropriate hyper-media link. In one embodiment of the system, the image capturing function and the geo-positioning function are physically remote from the viewing function until the captured data is transferred to the retrieval and playback unit. In another embodiment, the capture functions and playback functions are combined in a compact, hand-held, portable unit for consumer or industrial field use. The images, position data and multi-media entities may be stored as a single, compressed, linked digital data file. The data file is provided with hyper-media connections between the various entities, which connections are actuated by clicking on icons displayed on the viewer, or by actuating buttons or switches provided on the system console. Angular orientation determining device for providing angular orientation data may also be incorporated such that the system angular orientation at the time of image capture may be captured and stored for subsequent retrieval and display.

摘要： A modular booth structure is provided which is particularly useful in merchandising of food and drink items. The booth comprises a free-standing base portion comprising a plurality of vertical panels arranged to form a rectangular enclosure, a door in one of the panels, a plurality of cabinet units disposed within the enclosure and against the panels, with each of the cabinet units having a substantially planar top surface forming a countertop within the enclosure. The base includes a first plumbing system comprising a sink, a supply of water for the sink, a heater unit for heating water delivered to the sink, means for delivering water to the sink, and a holding tank for collecting water discharged from the sink. A second plumbing system is also provided which comprises a supply of water for a beverage dispenser, a supply of carbon dioxide for a beverage dispenser, and means for delivering water to the beverage dispenser. A cover portion is also provided comprising a plurality of pipes joined together by angled brackets to form a lattice structure. The cover portion has a vertical component which is attached to the panels of the base, a horizontal top, and an angled component joining the vertical component to the top. A plurality of transparent panels are disposed coplanar to the vertical component of the cover portion and a plurality of awnings cover the angled component, whereby a self-contained, decorative merchandising booth is obtained for the sale of food and drink items.

摘要： One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for translating application programs written using a parallel programming model for execution on multi-core graphics processing unit (GPU) for execution by general purpose central processing unit (CPU). Portions of the application program that rely on specific features of the multi-core GPU are converted by a translator for execution by a general purpose CPU. The application program is partitioned into regions of synchronization independent instructions. The instructions are classified as convergent or divergent and divergent memory references that are shared between regions are replicated. Thread loops are inserted to ensure correct sharing of memory between various threads during execution by the general purpose CPU.

摘要： A gooseneck coupler for engaging a towed vehicle to a towing vehicle is described. The coupler includes an outer tube having apertures that is moveable relative to an inner tube secured to a base plate. A locking plate is pivotally secured to the base plate, wherein the locking plate and base plate both include alignable locking pin apertures. A locking assembly includes a handle and a locking pin that is insertable into the locking pin apertures. A support bracket is secured to the inner tube. The support bracket includes a stop portion and a spacer portion that aligns the locking pin into the locking pin apertures. The coupler also includes set screws locatable through the apertures, wherein the set screws are tightened onto the inner tube to prevent movement of the outer tube. The set screws function as a visual indicator that the outer tube has been over extended.
